My family and I visited Rayaki yesterday evening, June 19, for my daughterâs birthday. The aesthetics of the restaurant are amazing. The anime art work on the walls is insanely gorgeous. There was a widespread power outage in the area which impacted numerous businesses which Iâm sure is what contributed to the uptick in business yesterday evening. When we initially arrived there were about four other families in the restaurant. Nothing too overwhelming. The restaurant didnât pick up traffic until midway through our experience.
We were greeted within moments of entry, and seated quickly. We put in our appetizer (4 items; fried squid, steamed dumplings, signature house wings and crab rangoon) and drink order right away. Our appetizers came out 20 minutes apartment. Our drink order came after all the appetizers had been served. Iâd say our dinner service ramen order took about 40 minutes to be served. My order, though, (pork belly over rice) didnât come out with the others. When questioned about wait time, I was told itâd be about an additional 20 minute wait. Which wouldâve been an hours wait time overall. Needless to say I cancelled that, and one additional item we were waiting for at the time.
While the food, overall, was enjoyable, the service was not. I believe the staff was doing their best, however, I do not think the staff was adequately prepared for the rush. The overwhelm was obvious in customer interactions which wasnât pleasant. Neither was the scattered serving of food and forgetfulness of orders.
Again, the food overall was good. I donât believe my experience would be a typical experience for others. While I do acknowledge their tenacity to accommodate their guests, the dismissive of the servers, during the rush, is the reason I wouldnât return. I wish their...
Read moreMe and my family just ate and enjoyed our food but the service was not good this time. Iâve been to this location multiple times and never had an issue, especially its service. But today on 9/25/2025 was an embarrassment and so much rudeness. I come out of the bathroom and Iâm stopped by a female waiter and is asked âwhy didnât you put a tip, you have to put a tipâ. Mind you I was confused at first because she was speaking fast and with an irritated voice. Mind you it took forever for her to even take our order. Then she just completely goes back and forth with me about giving a tip. I always tip but today I couldnât, me and my family wanted to eat and go home. Then another worker stands there and says to me âso you go to restaurants and donât tipâ. Now, at this point I was heated. I turn around to walk out, but before then the female waiter stands there and whisks me away with her hand and says âyou can go!â. The one time I didnât tip an establishment argues with me about a tip I can freely give. Iâve worked in hospitality and had people only pay whatâs on their check and I keep it pushing. Not argue with a customer and lose patronage. People need to work on their people skills. Wonât be going back based off that one reaction I got. Totally unprofessional and...
Read moreI really enjoyed my lunch here. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen and it was delicious. They do not skimp out on the egg either to get an entire egg. So, when you ask for an extra egg, you actually have 2 eggs. Much appreciated. Over all, ramen was a 9/10 only because the pork was a little too tough.
The Jasmine Milk Tea was good, just not my favorite. No fault of the restaurant, I have just not found a Green Milk Tea that stands up to one from Yodcha. Milk Tea was an 7/10, I'm really picky with my Milk Tea. My 7 may be your 10.
Let's talk about the atmosphere. It's one of the cooler ramen restaurants I've been to. I appreciate all the anime art and collectibles around the restaurant. Personally, I think this is really cool and if you're into any of this, you'll enjoy it too.
The restaurant was very clean. They take pride in taking care of their business and it shows.
The service was great. Staff is extremely pleasant to talk with and make sure you have everything you need. Can't ask for more than...
