This is the second time I have a bad experience at this Panera bread, I don’t have an issue with the one in Shrewsbury which is just fine. The first time I ordered the chicken wild Rice soup which was cold when I got it. I went and I let them know the food was cold they show me the microwave and said go warm it up yourself. I thought that that was really poor customer service since I expect a soup to be served Hot or at least warm. Today I ordered an sandwich and two coffees. This sandwich came out OK but when we went to serve our copies there was no coffee in either the light brew or the dark brew. My friend got some hazelnut, half a cup and it was cold. I went and notified of this and they told me I had to speak with the cashier, that she was in charge. She was helping customers at a time, I stood for about 10 minutes waiting for her to finish what you’re doing and let her know there was no coffee. Nothing happens then I saw A person with fresh coffee and he said he got it from the back. At the moment there was a manager visible I went to him and said there is no coffee in the thermoses I have been waiting for 20 minutes. He says “oh no” mocking me, so sorry I’ll get some for you ASAP or something like that. I finally lost my patient return my cold sandwich and asked for a refund. I will never set foot at this Panera. Read moreThis is my first and probably last time at this location! I went there tonight (Super Bowl Sunday) so it was empty!! I was the only one in there to place an order for pickup! There were 5-6 people working there so I assumed it would be easy to get a $35 order correct! 2x you pick two combos and 2 kids meals (grilled cheese and Mac n cheese). I tried to double check before leaving but with two small kids tired I peaked in quick but thought it looked ok! Of course when I get home we are missing one of the kids items! I called back and spoke with 3 different people, one being the manager - and never even got an apology and I had to ask for a refund! And when I basically expressed my frustration, the last person gave me an even bigger attitude and then hung up! I believe the Managers name was Jordan and she should be ashamed of operating in this manner. They should have gotten the order right the first time! But hey mistakes happen and when they do, have a bit more pride, apologize and make it right! I won’t be going back here again and something tells me by their attitude they won’t even care! Last night I called because part of my order was missing. When I called and “the manager” finally picked up the call, I explained that my order was missing the chicken noodle soup. He sound very sarcastic saying “Oh my god, your order is missing the chicken noodle soup!! Let me take care of that!”. “Hold on!”. At first I wasn’t sure if he actually was being sarcastic, so I waited... my wait time was 27 minutes . I know, most people would have just hang up and move on. But I wanted to know how and if this little hiccup was going to be handled. And it was NOT! After holding for almost half hour the call was finally disconnected and my little issue was NOT addressed.
So I want to conclude this review saying that it was a poorly handled situation, with an improper and impolite communication. Shame on you for giving this place a bad rep. You were a mediocre manager! You need training to be able to deal with customers. Shame on you for...
