Salvatore’s Pizzeria — Restaurant in Middletown Township

After living in Middletown for the past 30 years, my wife and I were heartbroken after Villa closed.. My wife had heard the rumors about Salvatore’s and noticed they had opened. Just tried it for the first time, the pizza is AMAZING (almost identical to Villa). The garlic knots need a little love - bigger knots with more oil & garlic but hey, still really good. I grew up eating Villa and was devastated when they closed. I just visited home and had to try Salvatore’s and was not disappointed. I ordered to-go and it was the same great slice and service I remember - the only difference is the name! The owner remembered me too which you can always appreciate from a small business.

I don’t see them on social media so hope people can spread the news because I will be coming back every time...

WE ARE SO BACK. Found out that Sal opened a new spot right across 35 from the old Villa and grabbed Grandma and Vodka slices immediately. Exactly the same taste and texture as the old Villa. When Villa closed, a gaping hole opened up in my heart that I never thought would heal. With the opening of Sal’s new spot, faith and hope has been restored. I’ll be going back whenever I can.
