Overall, its OK, but not the best overall shopping experience. PROS: Retro Fitness (subject to change) is 24 hours/day during weekdays, extended hours on weekends, and is located towards the "front" on this shopping plaza. PETCO is a good store for pet supplies, obviously, and is well stocked with food, cages, pet grooming/salon, and even has a good selection of small live animals (beyond fish, there are small rodents, birds, guinea pigs, etc.). SHOPRITE is a well appointed store.
CONS: The design of this shopping plaza is a DISASTER. The developer had an "odd-sized" land parcel, and I'm not sure his/her solution for developing this into a commercial property made much sense. You notice this as you try to drive through the VERY PECULIAR parking lot, which has strange curbs jutting out -- which if you take your eyes off (or there's poor lighting), you could very likely run into one of these. WORSE is that parking lanes are VERY NARROW and, particularly around the ShopRite, which is jammed into the rightmost corner of the property, its definately an issue -- too many cars, too small a parking area, too many staggering shoppers & patrons stumbling to and from the store. Then, add loose shopping carts, and "reserved parking" for "order online pickup" which takes out 2-3 prime spots, and you've got a really subprime shopping experience. The store itself -- while very well stocked with just about everything you might want -- is ENTIRELY TOO SMALL for its ambitions. It's JAMMED, particularly near the registers, and the frozen food/cold aisles to the left side of the store (facing it from the street) is hard to navigate without having to climb over or "jam-pass" other shoppers, particularly if you each have a cart. This is a prime place for kids to get "hit" by aggressive/impatient shoppers with carts. Shame, because the store is trying hard to stock the shelves, with a wide variety of stuff, but it doesn't quite make up for the POOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN of the...
Read moreEver wonder what it would be like not to be able to leave and establishment? Well Middletown shopping plaza has the worst traffic flow for cars of any parking lot in this area. Please do what I've found Park head out facing the stop sign that allows you to continue onto the road. If you don't, you will be barraged by Elders Wheeling loaded carts, children and strollers, people with things on their mind and not looking. Luckily many new cars have a warning system for backing out, and that may help to avoid the stress of leaving this parking lot. Please put in some arrows and enforce the traffic regulations. This is not...
Read moreNothing feels better than overcoming a long term addiction. Since the economic down fall, I found myself drinking more and more. It got to a point where I 'd buy myself a bottle every other day. I thought it was helping me cope with my stress but it was actually making things worse. My friends had talked me into getting professional help at Luxury Addiction Treatment Center so I did. After successfully completing my treatment I am able to see that I have a long way to go to repair all the damage I've caused but at least...
