I stopped in here yesterday to pick up a light bulb for my headlight. The gentlemen that helped me was so friendly and even offered to change the bulb for me. Honestly this made my day, as I really did not want to overpay a mechanic just to change my bulb and Iām not super car savvy to do it myself. His coworker doubted that he would be able to do it without removing my battery (which they stated they could not do if this was needed), but he ended up being able to remove the old bulb and pop in the new one within minutes . I cannot explain how grateful I was ! He then told me not to leave yet , as he felt my hood was getting stuck when trying to open it so he wanted to spray the latch with a lubricating spray for me so that it would be easier to open next time. I truly was so please with their service and that this man helped me so much. I cannot say enough good things. Iām not sure if this is standard for auto zone to have their employees help customers replace parts, but it really made my day to have someone be so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much! But afterwards he said that no one was there that could install a battery. He told me to come back in 3 hours because there would be someone available in the afternoon. I did come back in the afternoon and a women ask me what I wanted (maybe the manager). But as soon as I said the car is a Mercedes she started making excuses. We don't install on Mercedes because the battery is in the back". I mentioned the guy hooked it up to the computer this morning and we know it is in the front and easily accessible. Pretty sad, since this location always had such a friendly atmosphere. I frequented this location often, and never had an issue with any employee.
