Duck Donuts — Restaurant in Middletown Township

I recently visited Duck Donuts, and while I was initially intrigued by the name, I was only slightly disappointed to discover that their donuts didn't actually contain any duck. However, that disappointment quickly faded as I indulged in their delicious offerings.

The donuts at Duck Donuts are a delightful treat for any sweet tooth. They're made to order, ensuring that each one is fresh and piping hot. The texture is perfect - soft, fluffy, and slightly crispy on the outside. Their signature vanilla cake donut is a must-try, and the customizable toppings allow you to create your own unique flavor combinations.

What impressed me the most was the variety of toppings and coatings available. From classic choices like chocolate glaze and powdered sugar to more unconventional options like maple bacon and fruity pebbles, Duck Donuts offers a range of flavors to suit every palate.

I’m not a donut person. When we moved to the area, my husband kept talking about getting donuts here and how fresh they are. I didn’t really care. How great can donuts be anyway? Is it better than krispie creme? Well I finally had one and was blown away. Didn’t realize this level of donut wizardry existed. Blew my mind. Now we go here at least once a week to get 1/2 dozen or so. My favorite is the bacon in the sun. Husband’s is the sunrise and that donut with the apple filling they put in the middle. 1st time having Duck Donuts. BELIEVE THE HYPE.

I've had some other upscale donuts before and none were as memorable as this. I think its actually the over looked part of a great donut...the actual donut itself. In the rush to create wonderful toppings, the base is over looked sometimes and it underwhelms...

Not Duck Donuts.

We got a mixed dozen on Saturday and on Sunday had the leftovers. They were still super yummy the next day straight out of the box. Not a hint of staleness.

I loved everything about my experience here. If I had to pay 2x as much, I wouldnt have been disappointed. That's crazy...but it's also honestly how I'm thinking right now.
