Went on a Thursday evening with some friends for dinner. The place was practically empty so our service was quick. I ordered the pork belly nachos (essentially tacos al pastor), "street corn", some southwest springrolls to share with my friends, and a chicken quesadilla to go. The southwest springrolls were mediocre. For $14, the plate only brought 4 pieces and they didn't have an impressive flavor. They definitely lacked in seasoning and filling. The "street corn" was disappointing to say the least. It was my fault to expect an elote because I didn't read the part it said "off the cob" but the description also said it's "charred" which mine were not at all. The corn tasted like it came straight out of a can! No charred flavor at all, and it even looked like it still had some of the water from the can pooling at the bottom of the plate. Quite the poor delivery. The pork belly tacos were the only enjoyable plate. The pork was tasty and crispy, and all the other toppings were great, especially all the pineapple they added. The issue was that for $15 you only get 2 tacos. Too expensive, too little. At home, my partner ate the quesadilla and it was not even cut properly (they looked like 2 tacos instead of a quesadilla). The quesadilla itself was underseasoned as well. Overall, it seems like they're trying too hard to modernize or elevate the typical foods you find in a Mexican restaurant, but completely losing the essence of what makes this food good in the first place. Nothing feels genuine, just expensive disappointments.

Didn’t take pictures of the food, just the interior of the restaurant. My husband and I came in for something small. The interior is cool and we really liked the music. The staff was attentive, but even though we were the only table there, the food took over 20 minutes to arrive. The portions were pretty small and the rice that came with the tacos was dry and cold. My husband got the steak quesadilla and he said it was a bit bland. I got the verde tacos and they were pretty good (except for the rice on the side). It’s a nice place and the staff were polite- food is mediocre.

Hey if you're looking for some great drinks and some tasty eats in Middletown, this is worth a stop! Easy to place a reservation, very diverse drink list, and a menu with a little of every. Love that they have a vegan quesadilla and honestly a bunch of tasty vegetarian options. Got a fun spin on jalapeno poppers as an appetizer special, and a couple rounds of drinks to go with our vegetable quesadillas. Everything was delicious, and the food came out super quick! Will definitely swing through again when we're in the area

Went there last monday the Food overall.... honestly just dont bother shouldve went to chipotle, very bland, the salsa was good and the bluefin dip was amazing though... but what really drove me away from NEVER coming back was the fact the waitress seemed bothered and offended most of the time when we needed her... we didn't get it least greeted for it least 10 minutes and it was pretty slow... what really got me upset was my "frozen" margarita... I honestly believed that I had the wrong drink! It was that liquidy, the viscosity was visably wrong so I didn't wanna touch it because it didn't look right but when confronted if it was correct she defended the drink SHE made, saying because of the shot in there you it won't be frozen anymore I told her: "I've never had to this but, I am sorry but I'm not drinking that then it's clearly not frozen can you put more ice in it?" She took it back and less then a minute later I can clearly hear her say from the bar: "he's making me remake it. It wasnt made right" it wasnt rudely said but again she looked so bothered by us... she came back with a new drink looking fantastic almost took a selfie with it it was that beautiful! but I asked for boxes right away cuz I was so uncomfortable being there at that point and didnt want to not deal with her anymore, we were practically...

I did leave a review on Facebook as well- I never like to leave negative reviews, but I was so upset by my experience that I felt it was necessary. I was there with a group of 7 on Saturday night for my birthday. I was really excited to try the food because it came so highly recommended. The food was really disappointing, the potatoes in our burritos were cold, the churros had nothing on them- literally plain fried dough, the chips were cold for the chips/salsa we ordered, and the list goes on. More than anything else- the service was terrible. We waited 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that we sat down, we watched our waitress stand by the bar and chit chat. We had an 830 reservation and the restaurant was not busy. My friend didnt care for her drink and sent it back- and the bartender came to our table to argue with her about why she didnt like it. I have NEVER had that happen in any restaraunt ever. It was completely unacceptable. We had to ask several times for silverware, when the waitress did finally bring it over, she gave us 4 sets for a table...not enough for all of us. I hope that you guys look into whoever was working Saturday night and go through training on customer service, because our experience was a terrible one. AND our bill was almost $400- not...
