Authentic Nepali Cuisine That Delights Every Sense
I recently dined at Everest Indian cuisine and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled in a cozy location, the restaurant offers a warm, welcoming ambiance with subtle Nepali decor that sets the tone for a cultural and culinary journey.
Food: The menu is a delightful mix of traditional Nepali dishes, and everything I tried was packed with authentic flavors. The momos were a highlightâperfectly steamed, with a tender wrapper and juicy, spiced filling. The accompanying dipping sauce added just the right kick.
Service: The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, eager to guide us through the menu and recommend dishes for first-time visitors. They provided excellent service, ensuring that our water glasses were never empty and checking in regularly without being intrusive.
Ambiance: The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between casual and elegant. Soft music in the background, combined with traditional Nepali artwork, created a relaxing environment.
Value: Considering the quality of the food and service, the prices are very reasonable. Portions were generous, and it felt like an excellent value for the authentic experience provided.
Overall: Everest Indian cuisine is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore Nepali cuisine or revisit its comforting flavors. Whether youâre a fan of spicy curries or light, flavorful dumplings, this place has something for everyone. I canât wait to return and try more of their delicious...
Read moreNot sure if this is how Nepali makes their food but it was one of the worst food I have ever had. Ordered samosa chaat, chicken Dum biryani and tandoori chicken. The tandoori chicken smelled horrible like raw chicken meat and it wasn't well marinated. I almost threw up when smelled the chicken and the large size of legs and thighs. It had no cuts over the meat for marination to infuse into the meat and give that flavor.. one of the leg still had the blood on the inside. Usually when chicken pieces are such huge, you give it a criss cross pattern cut to make sure it gets marinated well and cooked throughly.... I ate only half of the chicken leg and the top layer of a second legs. Didn't even touch the thighs...and left it there. The chicken biryani was nothing like biryani I have ever had and definitely it wasn't a Dum biryani. I could only taste the spiciness. Dont recommend it. Chaat was ok. Biryani 2/10 Tandoori chicken 0/10 Chaat 6/10 If YOU HATE yourself and dont value your money, Go there. The service was excellent. Aside from everything was served in a cardboard plates with plastic utensils....
Read moreI want to give a big shout out to this restaurant..We ordered large trays of vegetable biriyani and Samosa chat for a get together recently. The food quality was amazing..Fresh and delicious !! Every guest enjoyed the food and asked us where we catered from. Today I took out Goat curry and Garlic naan. My God, it was not only so good yet it had literally no oil in it..tasty yet healthy goat curry. I am a good cook myself, I can tell when they put frozen ingredients and oily stuff to make it tasty ..this was nothing like that...the food tasted like home made. Fresh spices, fresh mutton and great ingredients. Thank you Everest for the quality food at such a reasonable price. You are a breath of fresh air for Indian food in the Middletown area! Keep up the great work guys! Cheers...
