An “HONEST” Crab Cake!! Look, I take my crab cakes pretty seriously, and I know how to make a good crab cake myself. If you love your crab cakes and find yourself driving nearby, and If you want an “honest” crab cake, then look no further. Just DELICIOUS! The cakes were broiled and not fried or oily, yet still had the perfect fluffiness and full of crab meat. Just the right amount of filler kept it all together for a golden glow on the outside and heavenly crabby goodness on the inside. I had the platter, and my wife had the sandwich, and the crab cakes held their own in both. The seasoning was spot-on and highlighted the crab meat, not overwhelmed it. The portion is to your liking, and “honest”: 4 oz, 6 oz, or 8 oz; yes, they are weighed – this is serious crab cake outfit. This is NOT famous crab cakes anymore. I thought I was ordering from famous crab cakes but when I arrived to pick up my order the name had been changed. ALONG WITH THE RECIPES! The crab cakes were dried out, bready and overly salty. My mom had to take her Blood Pressue Meds after eating as a precaution.

The amount of extra fillers is ridiculous. We ordered the JR crab pretzel supreme. Nothing supreme about it. They skimped on the crab dip topping therefore every bite was dry. Nearly half the amount of topping Famous Crab Cakes would serve for the same price of course. Also, I had to go round and round about getting the crabby sauce on the side; which is normally given automatically. I was charged $.50 extra for each. Never experienced this in the past. They took a good thing, stole all their recipes and then messed it up. We won’t ever be back. We will only visit REAL famous crab cake locations. This...

The Crab Cake Company has great food, a nice variety of menu items and a courteous staff. I needed delivery one night, so we used the Doordash App to place the order. Huge mistake. Doordash is not affilated in any way with Crab Cake Company. Doordash did not get my order correct and it cost me quite a bit more than was reasonable. It's a national corporation, so it's a waste of time trying to get them to refund your money. Please be careful when using these delivery services. I won't use Doordash ever again. I was upset with Crab Cake Company until the manager took the time and had the patience to explain the situation to me.
