Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Middletown

We stopped in for the first time to try out Jersey Mike's. This is a new location so the place was nice, and the staff was also very friendly. We ordered large chicken Phillys which were pretty tasty, but for $18 a sub, there was not enough meat, it was mostly bread and toppings. On the way out, they asked us how our first visit was, I mentioned that the sandwiches were good, but too light in the meat dept. The response I got was "okay we'll mention that to corporate". A much better response to a new customer would have been - Sorry we didn't meet your expectations, here's a coupon, or give us your info and we'll make your sandwich right the next time... JM isn't bad at all, but considering the quality of subs/sandwiches other shops like Angry Chicken just down the road are producing, Jersey Mike's is a hard sell. This was the best Jersey Mike’s I have ever been. From Michigan and here for a soccer tournament. Super clean. Everything was so fresh. The employees were great. The manager was training some new employees and talked to them with such respect. When the restaurant wasn’t busy everyone had tasks to do to get ready for the next rush. No one seen standing around on their phones. I even commented on it before leaving. Sometimes we all need to hear the good things and not just complain. Keep up...

So excited to have you guys in Middletown!! And you did not disappoint! Walk in and every one's greetin ya right away, makes ya feel like you've been there before lol Smiling faces left to right. Every thing was nice and clean. You actually see hustle in every worker but never feel like your being rushed. It's awesome. Food made fresh to order! I was convinced I needed to have my Italian made Mike's way, I will never have it any other way again!!! I can't wait for...
