Today I went to Taco Bell in Middletown RI, and when I pulled up to the drive thru to pick up my two orders and the girl asked me what I wanted and I told her I was a driver for Grubhub and I gave my customer’s names for pick up. She said “one moment please” I didn’t really understand so I waited about 10 min and drove up to the window, thinking they forgot me and there was no one behind me. She sees me at the window and says “I told you to wait” and I apologized but I was already at window, she tells me I have to drive back around and that made no sense since there was no one behind me. I said that I would be back later, since I’m a driver for Grubhub and had to make my other deliveries on time, she says” that’s your problem”. So I drove away. After making my other delivery, I went back to pick up my two orders again. I pull up the guy just says for me to come to the window instead. I drove up to window and tell him two names for two different orders, he hands me one order and I sit there waiting with cars behind me this time and he just waits like five minutes before realizing I hadn’t left because I was missing one order, he tells me to drive back around because he didn’t hear me the first time. All he has to do was hand me the order, which was already made. Grubhub orders are placed by customers, all I do is pick up and deliver, so there was no need to keep driving around just to pick something up which was already done. This was demeaning because I’m also trying to do my job and I didn’t appreciate the attitude. I had to drive the drive thru three times for something that could’ve been done right one time. Read moreDONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I go here every other week or so and every time the order is either wrong or something is missing. I never post reviews/complain, but after seeing the countless one star reviews, and the countless incidents I’ve had here, I felt something finally needed to be said I went on 10/5 and sat in line for 10minutes and at the speaker for another 15 minutes without a single word said to me, even though I could hear the mic clicking over every few minutes. After waiting 25minutes, I pulled up to the window to place my order there and found another car in front of me requesting a refund and yelling at the employees. I called and after the second time, a young guy picked up to apologize for them being short staffed and because someone placed a $60 order…. the whole country is short staffed. A little communication to let me know it was going to be a little bit or that they wouldn’t be able to take my order at that time would have been a lot more appreciated then wasting 25 minutes sitting in the rain.
