We visited Antonio's for the first time on a Friday afternoon around 3:30pm and found the restaurant completely empty and silent. With no wait, we were seated right away, but we were surprised to receive dinner menus instead of lunch options (if available). The breakfast/dinner menu had a variety of choices, but lunch selections would have been preferred at that time. We ordered burgers and shared fries, which were both tasty but a bit expensive—especially since fries were an additional charge per plate. (~$20/pp burger, fries, drink)
Where the restaurant truly fell short was in its atmosphere and management. Our server was wonderful—kind, courteous, and attentive. A few more customers trickled in after us, but the complete lack of music or background noise made for an awkwardly quiet dining experience. Then, just before 4 PM, a new server arrived, and our server informed her she should take the next table... Moments later, the owner/chef abruptly came out, snapping at the new server and calling her "girl," telling her to get off the floor because her shift hadn’t started yet. The uncomfortable exchange unfolded right in front of us, with the server later apologizing for the situation—a moment that was both unprofessional and astonishing to witness.
Perhaps the silence was due to a technical issue, and maybe we happened to visit during an unusually slow time. However, no customer should have to witness workplace disputes while trying to enjoy a meal. Personally, I wouldn’t dine here again, but I encourage others to try it and form their own opinions.

Read moreI just experienced the most expensive bad breakfast of my life. I ordered the stuffed French toast with a side order of ham. My wife got the Nutella crepes. And a side of eggs, which came with toast. My order of French toast was a single piece, but thick. Okay. That's fine, I guess. Took a bite and it was flavorless. Took another and the filing was suspiciously cold. Poked my finger into the filling and it was FROZEN. The server took it back to the kitchen with apologies. Brought back the same plate and piece of French toast, apparently microwaved to warm it more. Now for the ham. This six dollar side of ham was three pieces of thin deli ham, heated until it was shoe leather tough and dry as a bone. And I have to say, I've never felt like ham was missing SALT, until this morning. Zero flavor. I didn't complain about that, because lessons learned, at this point. My wife's meal was mostly fine, if not a bit blah, and a bit colder that she would prefer. But her toast was barely toasted. Like warm bread, with no signs of toasting really. For this grand disappointment and life lesson, we paid over fifty bucks (!), before the tip. Extremely overpriced. Our server was great, so we tipped her well. She was new, and struggling with the overly complicated electronic order interface. But her service was great. I won't be back though. That's an expensive life lesson. I miss Shirlene's. And I wish I'd gone to Lanny's. I've long felt that it's hard to screw up breakfast without burning it. But Antonio's managed to screw...
Read moreFirst time here and came on a busy day, where it was short staffed. The head server was loud and VERY vocal about it. The ENTIRE time. She also made snide comments about people and how the staff probably wont come get the people at the door. She was also complaining about someone named Ashley, by name, to a few customers. Which I didnt think was very professional. She was literally running through the dining room, like sprinting for no reason, acting ridiculous. Its food. Calm down. Not only that she took our order for drinks and then never came back. Angrily put someone else at our table, was rude to said person, so we got drinks 20 mins in. I waited for room temp apple juice. Then we waited for food. I got the stuffed french toast. I waited a very long time for one piece of cold bread for $12!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Literally one piece of cold bread, nothing on top and barely had anything in it!!! I would hardly have called it "stuffed." How was that even $12?! Needless to say, I left hungry. Seriously offer more than that, or warn someone they are getting a single piece of bread for TWELVE DOLLARS, with literally nothing to go with it. Even fruit on top would have been nice!! On top of all of that, My husbands food was also cold. (Omelette, hash browns and an order of sausage gravy.) All cold. That meal should never have cost us $50. My husband is an executive chef and was appalled. At least the place is clean and looked nice. Oh and our second server was more professional. But holy cow we wont be back after...
