I live in Canada, but visit Midland often because I have family there. I am a pastry chef, so I love this place for its from-scratch pastries! Everything I have tried is delicious. My favourite is the peanut butter caramel cookie 😋
My only problem with this place is the customer service. I’ve been in I believe 3 times since they’ve opened and I’ve never felt welcome or appreciated for spending my hard-earned money at this business. I’ve worked strictly at small businesses throughout my life and I know how important customer service is to a place. I don’t believe I’ve ever been helped by one of the owners, so I would advise them to maybe have a talk with their employees about being a bit friendlier. Maybe they’re tired and stressed out from a busy day, but after 3 visits with similarly bad experiences, they should try to figure out a solution for their attitudes.

I waited my turn and then the employees just helped the customers that came in behind me in. Not sure how this happened, and then it happened again the very next time. All I know is once you run out of something it is gone for the day. I would have been very very disappointed if the customer the employees let skip me, order the last of what I was planning to order. Also, when I come to order here, I order for 6 people not just myself
The food is amazing. I had the ham croissant and a piece of tiramisu. Good food just need to figure out a better system for forming a line and honoring first...
