Chicken Express — Restaurant in Midland

My fiancé and I came in and no one was in here but one couple already eating. The cashier comes up she doesn't even greet us, she says “for here or to go”. Like okay what happened to hello? She has an attitude the entire time we’re ordering our food. Anyways, I get my drink wanting a sweet tea because it’s always good from here, nope this time the sweet tea is disgusting like it’s been sitting for days or they haven’t cleaned the container for days. So we’re waiting for our food and some ladies come in maybe 10-15 minutes after us. They ordered and as soon as they sat down, they got their food. I was like okay, maybe they ordered something that was already made. So we wait. We then get our food 20 minutes later…half of my chicken is literally BURNT like BROWN. And so is my fiancés. So I take it to the counter and ask the lady if she sees the difference in my chicken. She apologizes and then goes to the cashier who made our order and said “why would you send that out” and the cashier just jokes around and says “what did I doooo”. Right in front of my face. So I just wait for my food to come out again. The lady brings my new order out. One of them is missing fries and one was mixed with spicy and regular tenders( we just ordered regular tenders). I don’t say anything I just give my fiancé the spicy tenders. My roll is rock hard. I have Gnats flying all over my food. My chicken tenders are squishy. My fiancé is still waiting for his fries, mind you she then brings them out when he’s literally Almost done eating. Just disgusting. So disappointed....

Went in today for just a kids meal, was kind of in a hurry to make it to eat lunch with my son for his Birthday. I put my order and waited patiently, then I look around and see there’s 5 other people waiting on their food. The lady making the orders looked like she was having trouble getting the orders together. She did have a guy helping her but every time someone walks in he stops making orders and goes to the register to put another order in. After 10 minutes I see 2 people get their order, I looked out the window to see no one in the drive through. So I’m wondering how come they can’t help the lady make the dine in orders? She took so long making this other customer wait that she needed it to go since she was too running out of time. The lady brought her a box then went back to making orders, now this whole time her little helper was constantly making new orders(Not helping the situation of the already backed up orders). He then goes back to helping but makes 3 fish plates that the lady already made yes lol. I finally got my food after 15 minutes which was in a box that looked like it had been in a chicken fight no lol. Was late eating with my son :(. I figured 5 minutes is enough time to put 2 pieces of chicken, fries,gravy and 2 rolls in a box. If they had to wait on chicken to be cooked I understand but they had enough chicken and fish sitting up there to feed the whole city. I am very disappointed in the way things went down today. ...

The last few times I've come in here, there is no one at the counter, service is very slow, and the resturant is dirty. The tables are not clean, and I am ignored when I stand at the counter waiting to order.

This time is no different. Slow poor service was my experience. Although the drive through was slow, the lobby was full of frustrated people who had been waiting for over 30 minutes for small orders.

Solution: Hire more staff, keep you lobby clean, and practice genuine care and self awareness.

I watched people walk out multiple times. This place is bleeding revenue. I'm going to stop coming here.

I just posted a picture. Currently, you have 7 customers waiting for service with no one manning the register. They have been standing here for approximately 20 minutes.

Edit 1: The fountain machine is out and the bathrooms are also nasty.

Edit 2: The employees are very rude and not responding well to complaints as customers are clearly upset. They now have a table of people waiting for pick up orders that were completed about an hour ago. The entire resturant is full of people sitting at dirty tables empty handed waiting for food. The waitstaff is hollering from the kitchen asking who had what order. This is probably the worst service observation...
