Dani, the manager at CAVA, is the kind of person who doesnât just provide excellent customer service that makes you think, âWow, I need to write a review,â but someone who makes you feel, âWow, Iâm so grateful my day led me to meet someone like her. What a gift to experience her energy.â
The whole team at this CAVA was lovelyâI donât want to overlook thatâbut Dani stood out in the best way. When things started to get a little busy, she came out from the back, not just to help, but to connect. She spoke to people in line, offering kindness and encouragement like it was second nature. That kind of warmth and care is rare, and it did not go unnoticed.
I was already having a good day, but Dani took my 8/10 day and turned it into an 8,000/10 day. Her sweet personality, ability to laugh, and genuine energy were a gift. I even mentioned to her how much I appreciated her presence. She didnât stop thereâshe put on a fresh batch of chips for me, even though the ones already out were just placed minutes before. It was such a small gesture but spoke volumes about her thoughtfulness.
And then, at the end of my transaction, she covered my meal. I was floored by her generosity. It wasnât just about the foodâit was about the love and care she poured into every interaction.
Iâll gladly make the trip to this CAVA again and again, not just for the food (though letâs be honest, CAVA is always worth it), but because of Dani and her team. They bring such an upbeat, joyful energy to the space. Yes, itâs a chain, but the people working here make it feel like so much more. Iâm so deeply grateful for the love I was shown. Thank you, Daniâyou truly...
Read moreFirst off, let me start with saying this will be the last time I place an order via the cava app. The last two times I have placed an order via the app to pick up a main ingredient was missing. This last time I placed an order for a grains bowl and used rice and black lentils. The important ingredient were the black lentils because I wanted the protein and the fiber. Needless to say, my dish had no lentils in it. The previous time I placed an order I ordered shredded lamb, and guess what that order has no lamb. When I called the restaurant to complain they said they were out of shredded lamb. They never contacted me or offered me a substitute just built the order without the protein. I used to go to cava a lot and we go in line and have them build the bowl in front of me so I could tell them exactly what to put in and I got what I ordered. They donât seem to have good quality control when building an order via an app without someone standing over them telling them what to put in a salad.
Donât get me wrong, the food was delicious. After all, how can you put so many ingredients together and not have a taste good. Everything I got was fresh but again it is not what I ordered. If the order were correct, I probably would have given cava a four star rating but missing a main ingredient. Iâm sorry just wonât cut it. One star , and a loss of a customer. There are too many other restaurants like this to take a chance again whatâs the old saying? âfool me once shame on you, fool me twice...
Read moreI had come to expect aloof service from the employees at the Midlothian store for some time but I always put up with it because the food was good. The last time I was there the service was worse than usual. The employees were barking at me about what to put on my order... which was their own concoction straight off the menu so they should have known what went on it. There were no other people in the restaurant so it wasn't like there was a big hurry. When I went to pay in cash the girl said that they don't accept it. This is fine for your business if that's what you want to do but you should probably inform people before they place their order and have it made, especially when you're holding the cash in your hand to pay and don't mention it until the very end. Maybe a sign on the door would be helpful? Or maybe a sign on the register? I paid with my credit card that I didn't want to use, it was fine, I thought.. the food is good. When I got home and we all sat down to eat the food was actually inedible. The best word to describe it was 'slop'. Again, this was their own specialty pita so I didn't choose what went on it. After a long day we were hungry but we ended up throwing it away it was that bad. We...
