This was my first time visiting this restaurant. It's a fast-food style place, very similar to other chains, but with a different flavor and more spice in the food. I ordered something that caught my attention called Harissa avocado, and I was excited to see avocado as a topping, since I love it. To my unpleasant surprise, when I started eating, the avocado was green and hard. I couldn't eat it. It completely ruined the experience for me. I would have preferred that they hadn't put any avocado on it at all. As for the rest of the meal, it was quite spicy. So, if you don't like spicy food, you need to be extra careful when you order. I'll be more careful next time and make sure to choose the right spice level. The service was what I expected, nothing exceptional. I also think it's expensive, especially when you consider the quality of the ingredients. The portion was adequate for one person.

Our pastor mentioned this place about six months ago. I've been wanting to try it but live about 40 mins away. Then I realized the one in Midlothian was 5 minutes from the new campus we launched and went for the first time Sunday before last. Since then me and my wife have eaten there three times. We absolutely love this place. Everything is very flavorful, fresh and responsibly sourced. The customer service is 5 star for sure, they have been very polite, cheerful and patient. If it's your first time there's a lot to choose from but they work with you you can even sample some options before committing to it. Also I don't know if it was the manager or owner but I guess he heard it was our first time and came over to greet us and check on us very friendly and personal touch, very much appreciated. One last thing don't forget to sign up for the rewards in their app it's worth it!

We love Cava but can’t stand going to this location. We went in around 7:45 and the workers were already breaking down for the evening. Even though they are open until 10pm. The way down the line was nasty with food all over the place. The women that waited on us acted like we were bothering her by having her serve our bowls. I asked for Greek Vinaigrette dressing but gave me something else and she said it was Greek vinaigrette. I have been to CaVa enough to know what the dressing looks and tastes like. The picture below was a large cross-section of something that was in the super greens. It is on top of a to-go bowl lid so one can see how big it is. This store used to be so well-run and clean, but has really gone down hill. Do yourself a favor and go to the Cava on Hull Street. The workers are actually friendly and are happy to serve you. The store is also clean.

Dani, the manager at CAVA, is the kind of person who doesn’t just provide excellent customer service that makes you think, “Wow, I need to write a review,” but someone who makes you feel, “Wow, I’m so grateful my day led me to meet someone like her. What a gift to experience her energy.”

The whole team at this CAVA was lovely—I don’t want to overlook that—but Dani stood out in the best way. When things started to get a little busy, she came out from the back, not just to help, but to connect. She spoke to people in line, offering kindness and encouragement like it was second nature. That kind of warmth and care is rare, and it did not go unnoticed.

I was already having a good day, but Dani took my 8/10 day and turned it into an 8,000/10 day. Her sweet personality, ability to laugh, and genuine energy were a gift. I even mentioned to her how much I appreciated her presence. She didn’t stop there—she put on a fresh batch of chips for me, even though the ones already out were just placed minutes before. It was such a small gesture but spoke volumes about her thoughtfulness.

And then, at the end of my transaction, she covered my meal. I was floored by her generosity. It wasn’t just about the food—it was about the love and care she poured into every interaction.

I’ll gladly make the trip to this CAVA again and again, not just for the food (though let’s be honest, CAVA is always worth it), but because of Dani and her team. They bring such an upbeat, joyful energy to the space. Yes, it’s a chain, but the people working here make it feel like so much more. I’m so deeply grateful for the love I was shown. Thank you, Dani—you truly...

First off, let me start with saying this will be the last time I place an order via the cava app. The last two times I have placed an order via the app to pick up a main ingredient was missing. This last time I placed an order for a grains bowl and used rice and black lentils. The important ingredient were the black lentils because I wanted the protein and the fiber. Needless to say, my dish had no lentils in it. The previous time I placed an order I ordered shredded lamb, and guess what that order has no lamb. When I called the restaurant to complain they said they were out of shredded lamb. They never contacted me or offered me a substitute just built the order without the protein. I used to go to cava a lot and we go in line and have them build the bowl in front of me so I could tell them exactly what to put in and I got what I ordered. They don’t seem to have good quality control when building an order via an app without someone standing over them telling them what to put in a salad.

Don’t get me wrong, the food was delicious. After all, how can you put so many ingredients together and not have a taste good. Everything I got was fresh but again it is not what I ordered. If the order were correct, I probably would have given cava a four star rating but missing a main ingredient. I’m sorry just won’t cut it. One star , and a loss of a customer. There are too many other restaurants like this to take a chance again what’s the old saying? “fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...

I had come to expect aloof service from the employees at the Midlothian store for some time but I always put up with it because the food was good. The last time I was there the service was worse than usual. The employees were barking at me about what to put on my order... which was their own concoction straight off the menu so they should have known what went on it. There were no other people in the restaurant so it wasn't like there was a big hurry. When I went to pay in cash the girl said that they don't accept it. This is fine for your business if that's what you want to do but you should probably inform people before they place their order and have it made, especially when you're holding the cash in your hand to pay and don't mention it until the very end. Maybe a sign on the door would be helpful? Or maybe a sign on the register? I paid with my credit card that I didn't want to use, it was fine, I thought.. the food is good. When I got home and we all sat down to eat the food was actually inedible. The best word to describe it was 'slop'. Again, this was their own specialty pita so I didn't choose what went on it. After a long day we were hungry but we ended up throwing it away it was that bad. We...
