Went here for dinner with the family. I found the menu to be rather limited. We ordered the TK Nachos to start. The chips were very crunchy, which we did not care for. Otherwise it was ok. The toppings were not particularly hot and it would have been better with regual tortilla chips. For the main dishes, we ordered the short rib tacos, cheeseburger, the baja bowl, mediterranean bowl, and the vodka pizza. I had the baja bowl, with the beef short rib. Not a whole lot of food for the money. You could get more from Chipotle for less. Tastewise, it as ok, nothing special. The meat was a little dry. The mediterranean bowl was better, as there was more food with the cheese and bread to fill you up. The short rib tacos were ok. I didn't care for the tortilla they were served on. The vodka pizza was decent, although there was very little variety with toppings. The cheeseburger was a solid choice for my 16 yr old son, although he did not care for the dijon sauce. He said he would have rather had a McDonald's burger...

Service was mixed. Our server was friendly and accomodating, however, her visits were infrequent, possibly due to the number of patrons (it was a busy Friday night). The kitchen was also taking a long time getting food out. Itwas about 20-25 minutea after we ordered before we got our appetizer, then another 25 before we got our food. My daughter's tacos came with rice that was very crispy/overdone. The waittress offered to bring some fries out instead. We had all finished our meals and she offered to bring out the bill when she realized we had not yet received the fries.

Atmosphere was nice. I like the decor they use. It has a rustic woodsy feel to it. There were a lot of people at the bar, people outside, the restaurant was pretty much completely filled. It seems like a nice place to go to have some drinks with friends, but I would not go there...

If it wasn’t for the food being decent I would give Tazza Midlothian 1 star. Hostess and kitchen staff are sub par at best. Second time visiting in a month. The first time was my birthday (milestone one at that) and called for reservations for 5. When we arrived on time we were asked to take a seat. After 10 minutes we were told just a another few minutes. Finally we were informed the table we were to be seated at had exceeded their time limit and they would leave soon. Watching the hostesses I realized no one has even approached this table to politely remind them of their time limit. Instead we were so hungry after 40 minutes that we asked to squeeze onto a 4 top instead. 5 adults were not comfortable and disappointed. Last night my husband and I tried again. This time no reservations as we saw how it didn’t really matter anyway. We were sat at a tiny bistro outdoor table (obviously placed inside as a second thought) even though there were 2 open tables in the area. When asked if we could move we were told they were for people who had reservations. What? Clearly reservations didn’t matter last time we visited? In the past we have also observed a kitchen staff put a plate up to be delivered and grab several fries off the plate and eat them. Last night was the last straw. Not...

I ordered the shrimp tacos along with a side of fries. Before, I began I would like to mention the restaurant is in a fabulous location off huguenot road. I came to the restaurant after reading reviews looking for a decent meal. I decided to go with this establishment to experience there shrimp tacos. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and comfort. I was told before I ordered takeout that it would be a 25 min wait which wasn't an issue since its the end of the work week. After the 25 minutes wait, the food wasn't quite ready, which is expected on a busy Friday evening. The most important thing is that the meal is hot and fresh. Well, that's where things turned sour. The fries were greatly undercooked, cold, and unpleasant to eat. The shrimp tasted as if I grabbed it straight out the sea and ate it. No seasoning, nothing special or appealing. After all of this, I can honestly say that I spoken with one of the managing partners of the restaurant (Phil), he was very sympathetic and wanted to get things right. As they say, what glams isn't necessarily glitter. So, ill pass on...

Great food and atmosphere for the area and price point. Been here about three times since our first visit for a business dinner a few weeks back. Popped in this weekend at the bar (pretty busy Friday and Saturday nights) and Liz was fabulous. Winning entrees I've had: the scallops, steak and the tacos - brisket and shrimp per Liz's recommendation. Other bartenders aren't as nice as Liz, albiet understandable as they are busy meeting the rolling drink orders coming in but I received outstanding service and actual hospitality from Liz despite the demand when she was on shift. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟for Liz; āļøāļøāļø for others. I had to wait a while to close out my check and saw the female bartender tend to others while putting my basic requests on hold - for the check, to get my food boxed up and to have to-go plastic ware. I get being busy, but for someone who is ready to leave and has been ignored since the moment I walked in, neglecting and making them feel like they are not worth while is disappointing. Literally asking if everyone else was doing ok but could have given less than any care to check in.

Visit Date: 10/28/2021 This was my first visit which I enjoyed overall. I came here with 3 friends for a book club meeting on a Thursday during happy hour. The sangria was amazing, I like my drinks on the stronger side as opposed to sweet and it fit the bill. I also loved the guacamole. I tried each of the HH tacos and my favorite was the braised pork (short rib 2nd and chicken 3rd). The atmosphere was great for us and would also be perfect for a date night. There were even a few families with children present also. The only negative about our visit was feeling a bit rushed by our server after we had eaten our food, we were there to discuss the book so naturally we didn’t just eat and leave. Our server was pleasant but he constantly came over after we ate (before we ordered dessert). He also didn’t offer to split our check until he came by and noticed me trying to calculate our individual total’s. I definitely plan to come here again and I’m really looking forward to trying their pizza because they have a brick oven!

One of my favorite places to dine or grab a drink, this place never disappoints! I’ve never had a dish here that I didn’t like. More recently, I had brunch which certainly lived up to my expectations from previous visits. I opted to get the Crab Cake Benedict where the eggs were poached to perfection with an incredible flavor profile from the crispy prosciutto over green fried rice topped with an incredible lemon chipotle hollandaise. The cocktail menu is updated seasonally with quality choices catering to a spectrum of preferences. Pictured are the New Era (bourbon) and the Permanent Leave (tequila) cocktail which blew us away having such a balanced yet refreshing vibe—hoping they keep that one around for a while. The staff is very accommodating and truly match the quality in the food and atmosphere. Highly recommended going solo, date night, or a group!
