Came in this evening to enjoy dinner with family as we have not been to a Texas Roadhouse in a long time. As soon as we arrived we asked to be seated in the back the host acted like " in the back " was a problem but we were finally seated. The waitress was friendly which was nice. She brought us all out a sweet tea that ended up being a little to sweet. So, one of us switched to a coke & it even tasted water down. As our meals we ordered 3 well done roadkills with a regular sweet potato & salad as our sides. We thought eating here tonight was going to crave what we have missed. Well were wrong and heres why. First, When the meals arrived 2 of the roadkill dinners had pink when we asked for well done. One was also missing the mushrooms on it. So we asked to have the whole meal remade. About 20minutes later the manager brought out one roadkill meal to our table with a side of corn. Handed it to us, we said this isnt what we ordered. He then took that meal back and walked two tables down and rehanded it to someone there who had been waiting for their plate. It should have never been touched by us & then given to another table. After a few more minutes the 2 roadkills we had being remade finally came to our table! The meals were now well done, the way it should have been the first time. Now that we had our meals, the other family member had already finished their meal and ate alone. We didnt even get to eat together & that's the whole reason we came out to a restaurant. While we were eating we asked for drink refills. It never came & when we saw the waitress again about refills she said that the tea was being remade and it would be 17mins. That long to brew a tea ?? She asked if she could get us another drink while waiting for the tea. We got Sprite and it was also terrible! We just asked for the check, because at this point we were ready to leave. You have to pay on one of those kiosk things. The waitress showed us the digital receipt on there, but it doesnt break it down like a normal paper one. We chose to pay with cash. The waitress asked did we want change, we said yes. She brings us back $3. It was surpose to be $3.61, wheres the rest of our change ??? This visit had us so aggravated we didnt even worry with it, we left. As soon as we got to the car we looked at the paper recipet the waitress brought to us with the change, just to see that they charged us an extra $2.29 for a smothered roadkill! We didnt order that, doesnt a roadkill already come with the cheese and mushrooms! If we would have seen this inside on the recipet we would have told them this too! We wont be back. This is the worst service we've ever had

Ordered the 8oz filet med rare. It came out burnt on one side yet still cold and raw inside. asked for it to be topped off another minute or two. Waited 8 minutes and had to ask the waitress to check on it because if they are cooking it that long, it was going to be overdone. She came back and said it was ok, they were watching it. Five minutes later, the hostess came by. I asked her to check on it. She passed it along to the server, they came back and said they were plating it now. About 6 minutes later, it finally came back out, delivered by the manager. The steak was now about 1/2 the size which I knew wasn't a good sign. I cut into it and the manager said, hmmm, yes that's really all done. My dining partner was now done with thier dinner. The manager offered to get another, was not going to wait for that at this point. He did take it off the check, which would be appropriate since I didn't eat it, and gave me a $15.00 voucher for next time. That was nice, but the filet is $23 so.... Anyway, had the mixed veggies with it, they came out cold and the carrots were hard and rubbery. Butter would not melt on them. The baked potato was ok, warm not hot, butter barely melted. My steak did come back, while way over cooked, with a hot baked potato and the butter had completely melted so would have been the much better one to eat. Apps were fine. Hurricane margaritas was splendid. Obviously it wasn't the servers mistake, so she still got a 20 tip, although, had she gotten the steak when I asked, it probably wouldn't have been over cooked. The manager was pleasant enough but he should have been able to identify at some point while carrying the steak to me that it was over well done. My biggest issue is that- YOU ARE A STEAK PLACE- hire or teach your grill crew how to properly cook a steak. Should be an even sear on both sides and not charred on one side and raw on the other. Please get better!

THIS LOCATION for takeout is TERRIBLE! Food tastes good, don’t get me wrong. However, the to go is NEVER correct. I’ve contacted Texas roadhouse about this going back over a year ago and nothing has changed. Just ordered again tonight. Got a couple steak salads and they ask you online if you want extra dressing. You click yes and the receipt and the ticket attached to the bag show the dressings. I asked the guy if they’re there when I went to pick up. He says “they should be in with the salads”. Rather than checking the order for me, he says “you can check it before you leave”. That’s not good service right away. I looked and the dressings are not there. He seemed totally perplexed. This happened last time and it’s the same employee as three or four months ago. Has to walk in the back and get me my dressings. This happens EVERY SINGLE TIME probably for the past three years. You can go to the other location in Midlothian, which is on Hull Street and they get it right and they even bring it to your car. This location doesn’t even offer you curbside to go anymore. I’m wondering when management is going to do anything? I think it’s higher than the store manager. Total incompetence and a big frustration every time you go. It’s really inconvenient when they’re busy and you have to go in and wait to get attention because you have employees and processes that aren’t in place to make something as simple as double checking the quantity of dressings and sauces are correct before telling the customer it’s ready. Here’s a pic of my receipt and this was also taped to the bag. Clear as day you’re supposed to have two of each. ** I just submitted the review to the “contact us” on the website per the request from Texas Roadhouse to this review. **

My most recent visit will be my last visit at this location. The Hull St restaurant, which we usually go to, had a 45 minute wait - this location had no wait, which was surprising to me. Get there about 9pm and we get seated immediately. The seats are wet and have crumbs on them, so we wait for the waitress to bring out plates and utensils and wipe the seats with the cloth napkins. After sitting down, we notice the plates are dirty with dried cheese on them. We tell the waitress but rather than get new plates, we just put our bread on some paper napkins.

We place our orders, my daughter and I get steak, cooked medium. Salads come out, no problem. Steaks come out and my steak is visibly dry and as I suspected, overdone, as was hers. The waitress sighs, which indicated to me that this was not the first time, and takes the steak back to have them remade. Wife and son's food was fine, so they begin eating. It's been over 20 minutes, wife and son are finished eating, our steaks still have not come out. At this point I'm ready to leave as soon as the waitress comes by to check on us. Waitress never comes, so I go to the front desk to ask for a manager.

After another 5-10 minutes, the manager, Alivia, comes out with the steaks, which are cooked better but still tough, chewy and not well seasoned. At this point, it's nearly 10pm, my wife and son have BEEN finished eating, my daughter and I have only had our salad, some bread and been nibbling on the baked potatos. Alivia simply apologizes for the wait, stands by while we cut into the steaks and asks if we are good. I had expected she would offer to remove the steaks from the bill due to their poor service, but since she didn't, I advised her I would not be paying for the steaks. The table had not been properly cleaned, the plates were dirty, the steaks came out wrong and we had to wait half an hour for some steaks that should've only taken 10-15 minutes to cook. Our remakes should have been prioritized (which they weren't), and despite the restaurant not even being full, it still still took 30 minutes for our food to come out. She told me if I was unwilling to pay for the steaks she would have to take them back, which completely shocked me because I've never experienced that at a restaurant.

Obviously they weren't going to give half eaten steaks to someone else, but she assured me it was their store's policy. So I told her she could take the steaks and we would pay for the remaining entrees. She asked if we wanted some coupons, which, she should have just given us, along with our steaks, but apparently customer service and satisfaction was not her priority. I hope she or someone from the Koger Center store sees this and uses this as a teaching point. If this is the typical service they offer, no wonder there...

We got takeout today, July 18 two kids meals and three adult meals and shrink inflation. Doesn’t even come close to showing how little the management and multiple individuals that had anything to do with this order. Do not care.

I got a half rack of ribs with fries and a salad that container that the salad came in seem small but when it was less than half full of salad, I was definitely not happy but moving on to opening the ribs and defined 2 1/half french fries for my side order of fries Just ruined it to make it worse between three adult orders and two kids orders all with french fries as their side orders, we had a total of 11 french fries for our order. We have always had problems with the orders at this location. We haven’t gone for a while and my wife is the one that did the pick up so she did not pull every item out and open it in front of them that’s what I’ve had to do in the past And out of a total of 15 orders that we’ve gotten from them we have never had one that hasn’t had a small issue one whole meal missing or forgetting a side item but this was ridiculous. The order was correct. The portion sizes were just ridiculously small. We got a side order of mac & cheese That was put in a small paper bowl with lid that was less than 1/3 filled every single entrée inside item was between 1/3 and half of what was expected at Best I would’ve thought 11 french fries would’ve been a small amount for a children’s meal not for five meals. I do hope that the managers look at this review and look back at the orders and find out who it was in charge of this, and I hope that that person is spoken to the hostess that’s supposed to look at the meals should’ve noticed this the expediter that’s supposed to put the meals together should have noticed this. This was done on purpose. There’s no way this was an accident and it took at least three different employees to let this happen we will take our business to the HALL Street location in the future. They’re always really busy and it’s almost impossible to get a table without a wait, but they don’t screw up our orders. They don’t shrink the size of orders to make something work that they don’t have to actually do their job and cook the correct stuff. Our order was riddled with other problems like raw steak for the steak bits for youngest steak I literally had to microwave it just to make it edible and I like medium rare, but you don’t give super rare to a child. I truly hope that management does something about thisand if they were aware of this type of things happening, I hope management is replaced. This type of service is not acceptable and fast food, and definitely is not acceptable at this...
