Wendy's — Restaurant in Midlothian

Based on (attempted) visit on Thursday, June 16, 2022 around 4:45 PM.

My wife and I arrived at the drive through lane, with a thought that we could get a couple of small Frostys, as it was a hot day. There were about three cars in front of ours, and there was some movement, as cars were moving up from the ordering station to the payment window.

After the car in front of us moved away from the ordering station, we drove up. There, a female voice proclaimed to us, "I'll get with you in a minute". With some patience, we waited for her to return. While we waited, we heard laughter and random conversation through the speaker, and coming presumably from inside the restaurant. After about three minutes of this, and as the number of cars behind us increased, a man in the truck behind us asked us, "Still waiting on them?", to which we replied, "Yes". He replied, "Happened to me, too". After another two minutes, we said "Hello? Hello?" to the speaker, with the inside conversation continuing. As the staff continued to ignore us, we then drove off. Did not even have a chance to make an order.

Seeing the other 1-star reviews, I am not surprised. There is something very wrong with the way this Wendy's operates and how it treats its (potential) customers.

I'd imagine that a majority (maybe 75%) of this location's potential customers would come from the area within five miles of this location. People living or working near there. A smaller percentage would probably be one-timers, coming off of US-287. As the workers (and likely management) of this location continue to squirrel-around, that majority will get wise to their antics and stop coming by. No service = no customers = no money = no Wendy's.

There are much better options in the area. Until this crew can get it right, don't bother coming by this location. Get your Frosty fix at another Wendy's -...

Update: Just tried to give them another chance, now a year later, and I asked them for a #1 with extra vegetables. The fries werent even filled and were VERY old and chewy and they barley put any veggies on my burger and what lettuce they did put on it was rotten. NEVER again. This place needs to be shut down.

To start the employee taking orders in the drive thru started taking my order and then asked me to give them a moment, which is fine, but then let me sit there for over 5 minutes and I said hello and they again asked me to give them another moment leaving me again for so long the cars behind me started driving off and all the cars in front of me where gone. Finally got my order taken and the girl working drive thru was so rude and just snatched my card out of my hand and wouldnt even make eye contact. They gave me bags and then asked me to pull up to wait for my salad. They made me wait another 10 minutes while i counted 9 cars get their food and drive past me, just for a salad! When i got home, and i should have known better, i had ordered a chicken pretzel bacon pub meal, they gave me the beef bacon pub, and this is the second time i have tried odering the chicken one and they gave me beef. They clearly dont know the difference between chicken and beef! Now i have tried to call the store twice and no one will answer the phone there. I am very frusted because their food is not cheap and they continue to give terrible service! I will be contacting...

I have worked in the restaurant industry majority of my life so I am the first to give Grace to employees in the service industry, but this place is probably hands down the worst restaurant or fast food establishment. Doors locked 2 hours before close, waited in line for 20 minutes, got to the window and could see 5 employees standing around on their cell phones, they proceeded to tell me I already got my order that I sat in line for which I didn’t get, and some ignorant employee yelled out “Sorry You Already Got Your Order” from the drive thru window. I called the store 3 times to ask about my order and the employee who answered told me to leave a Google review and proceeded to hang up on me. I went to Quick Trip to get gas and see three employees run out to the parking lot to talk to friends… The Midlothian Wendy’s is probably the most trashy and disgusting restaurant in this town. Poor Management, Awful Employee Conduct, Horrible Customer Service, and Bad Work Ethic. So if you want a memorable trashy experience while trying to get food, this place is a definite A+. I went from being mad due to not receiving my food, to actually taking it as a Blessing in disguise, because if I had to guess this is the type of facility that has employees that use the restroom and probably don’t even wash their hands. So to all the employees at Midlothian Wendy’s… Keep it Trashy and Keep on with Exceptionally Bad Service because you are on point....
