When I entered, I stood near a man who was already so bored from waiting that he was leaning against a wall playing on his phone. I didn't time how long I actually waited but it was a sadly ridiculous time. I like to give customer service the benefit of the doubt normally. But in this case, multiple people walked by and ignored us. They weren't assigned to register, obviously, so it wasn't their job. Finally, a woman came up and asked the man making sandwiches in front of us how he was doing and noticed us. She asked him if we had been helped and he said no. Therefore, all of those people not only ignored us, they couldn't be bothered to tell anyone there were customers waiting at the register. Now, this woman immediately jumped into gear, hopped on the register, and started taking orders. She was so nice. One of those that made me feel very welcome without even having a big conversation. She said sorry for the wait and conveyed the sense that she meant it, not just giving a perfunctory apology. This woman is the only reason I gave two stars on service because no one else I saw that day deserved any. I wish I had gotten her name. The way staff ignored me, I assumed they were busy and my food would take a bit. However, they had my meal ready before I even had my drink. That was fast. My curly fries were delicious and crispy and hot. But my roast beef was cold. It was like they had pulled it out of the fridge a little bit ago. Their slow-roasted beef, their customer service, everything about them, especially their commercials! :) So when I walked in today, bringing in Chick Fil'A breakfast cuz I had a last-minute car repair before work, I sat down in this Arby's to eat. It was 10-15 minutes before I got up to ask the general manager a question to which she replied then, "If you're not going to order anything, I'm going to have to ask you to leave." I didn't have an issue with this but asked her why she didn't tell me this before. She replied, "Well, I didn't know you were going to bring in food. This is not a place to hang out, you either order or get kicked out." Well, by this time, I was furious but held my temper! ME: "Kicked out? You asked me to leave but now you're just being rude!" GM: "I'm not being rude, sir, It's just our policy." ME: "You are being rude, you aren't meeting my eyes and your tone & words aren't exactly polite either. I don't mean to tell you how to do your job, just trying to help you. GM: "Well, that's what it sounds like and I don't need help, I've been in fast food all my life." ME: (Thought): "If you've been in fast food all your life and you talk to customers like this, you definitely do!
Never go to this Arby's! And if you do, watch out for a brunette manager with a blue shirt, brown eyes and a chip on...
Read moreArbys is one of my favorites mostly for the curly fries. I made the mistake of getting my craving from this location. I requested fresh fries as I always do when I come to Arbys. The lady in the drive-thru advised "all their fries are fresh". I was happy to hear that thinking I wouldn't have to wait long and still would get fresh curly fries. However, the fries were not fresh. So I returned and asked could they give me fresh and even advised I'd be willing to wait. They said no need hold on and came back with fries. They too were cold. I was completely in disbelief and disappointed. I have never gone to a place to eat and they gave me cold food twice. It concerns that considering how long their line was that they had such a large supply of cold fries. Like do they cook all the fries for the day and keep them under the heat lamp and just serve people old food. Needlessly to say I will never return to this location. Also maybe the health department should pay a visit who knows what else is going on in that kitchen. I completed the survey and requested I be contacted no one has contacted at all.
