It is time for an update. Oh my goodness, what a change. This location is back and better than ever. The baristas have this place humming like a well-oiled machine. They are friendly, and greet you when you walk in the door. If you stand to wait for a mobile order they ask your name so they can make sure they work on it. The quality is excellent as usual. I can't say enough good things about this Starbucks. Thank you to the manager, and all the baristas for making every experience I have here a beautiful one. Something has changed over the last few months. Our former baristas have apparently gone elsewhere.
I do not receive a friendly greeting any more when I walk in. The other day I sat at the drive through window almost five minutes before anyone even showed up. When she finally appeared I was not greeted, just handed part of my order with a "Have a nice day.". I had to tell her there was more to my order. She didn't go look at the mobile order ticket, but asked me what I ordered, so I had to take more time to tell her. This made me and all the people in line behind me wait even longer. There was no apology.
If I order drinks and food, I now always have to ask for my food. As I mentioned above, often if there is more than one drink in my order, I get one with a "Have a nice day," and I have to ask for the rest. I always tell them at the order station how many items I have, and that has yet to make any difference.
The drive through is now extremely slow, probably due to the fact that other people have to ask for the rest of their items as well. The other day they tried to give me someone else's order, then had to go find mine.
A blonde barista with a ponytail chastised me for not submitting a mobile order soon enough when I came through the drive through. She gave me my drink and I had to ask for my food. Of course, there was a long wait for that. Then she didn't put a fork in with my egg bites and I had to go back through the drive through to request one. She did not apologize.
The other day the man making my order did not call my name when he put the drinks out. I had to go check to see if they were mine.
Mobile order items have tickets stating the total number of items in an order. Perhaps the baristas at this location could use those tickets to their and our advantage.
On the other hand, the drinks are still excellent and the quality has not suffered.
I am sure that as they have more training, our baristas here will improve and things will being to flow smoothly again. I look forward to coming back to update my review and add back the stars that have been lost.
I am always greeted with a smile when I walk in. The baristas work hard to get orders out as quickly as possible while still maintaining high quality. My drinks are always prepared beautifully and are delicious. While Starbucks is known for their consistency from store to store, I still have to say that this is my favorite Starbucks. Great products, great service,...
Read moreI have been to this place three times now. I was very disappointed in this trip. I ordered online, as usually so that I didn't have to wait. It took several minutes for them to get to me, I understand they are busy but if the company is offering this service then they should take care of their customers. Anyways I got my drink and headed out, because I have been burned by hot beverage I didn't drink it until I was on my way to work. It didn't taste like what I had several days prior. I then opened the cup and noticed that they didn't add some of the toppings I requested but it was on the label that they stick on the cup. I was disappointed in that. The drink tasted watery, like the barista didn't have the mixture correct and added more water than needed. I kept drinking it hoping it would get better but I was wrong. I was contemplating if I should throw the six bucks drink away. I ended up throwing half of it because at that point it was wasted calories because it was tasteless. Definitely disappointed in this place and this was the worst drink in ten years.
So I went to this place on the 8th and 9th of December. I was doing one of their star dashes and since stars started to vanish I need to get some back. Anyways the first day I went there I ordered via the app. It started it would be anywhere from 3-7 minutes for my order to be ready. It was great because I was on my way to starbucks when I placed my order. It was really easy and had no problems. When I got to starbucks they were super busy. It took over 5 minutes for one of the barista to acknowledge my presence and she asked me if I was Chris and she gave me my drink. Apparently what they do is put the drinks over to the side once they are ready and will call your name once and then leave it there. Not the best solution because I couldn't even see if my drink was ready. I was pretty upset at how long it took someone to acknowledge I was there. I left and started my trek to work. When I started to drink my Skinny Peppermint Mocha it was slightly cold. I was really disappointed that it was really hot. Also the taste was not as good as other things. I was already on my way to work so I couldn't go back. I figured I would give it a second try today the 9th. The app told me 3-7 minutes so I ordered at 5 minutes so that it would be warm. I got in and they were busy again. It took 3 minutes for someone to acknowledge me, which is better from yesterday. I understand they are busy but if you are going to make a process to help you staff and customers you have to make it efficient. I got my drink and it was warmer then the day before. A little better flavoring. Would I come back here again, maybe. It is the closest to me but paying almost $6 for a drink that isn't that good....umm I will probably just not drink Starbucks and make my own coffee. We will see how I feel...
Read moreFor the last 4-5 times, I have gone to this location I have had SO MANY PROBLEMS! I order my drinks through the app so that the drink will be ready when I get there (I live like 8-10 min from this location & I order my drinks before I leave my house) plus they do not have to try and listen to my weird order. However, for the last 4-5 times I have come (all during August), they have messed up my order. Yes, I understand my order can be a little weird since I usually get iced drinks without ice since it can take me 8 hours to drink my coffee, so I am not too fond of ice because it will water down my coffee by mid-day (also, I had clean industrial ice machines when I used to work in fast food & at a movie theatre so I know how gross they can get in not cleaned enough, so I never get ice in any of my drinks anywhere). So, anyway back to the problems with this location - they have put ice in my drink several times (even though the order sticker says no ice), on Tuesday the barista questioned me in an insulting way where she was asking me how I expected her to make my drink without ice. Then today when I was handed a cup filled with ice I mentioned that it was supposed to be without ice; The barista sighed and just dumped the coffee into a different cup and handed it to me even though the top fourth of the cup was empty (usually the barista fills the rest of the cup up with milk) I NEVER used to have problems with this Starbucks, it was one of my favorite locations (plus its close to my house). However, ever since they have reopened, I have continued to have bad experiences! I still LOVE Starbucks, it is one of the few treats I let myself have since I am a teacher, so $6 coffee can quickly get expensive if purchased too often (really the only reason I went twice this week was hoping they would have the Fall 2020 cups, but it seems like no Starbucks in the metro have them except for the one inside of Target) I guess, for now, I will just drink the extra couple miles and go to the Starbucks near I-240 since that is close to my job. I am just so disappointed in this location, and hopefully, they can get back on track and be the fantastic location...
