Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Mifflin Township

Usually order to pick up but had too many kids to load up so I ordered online. It said my order would be delivered by 7... So 10 after 7 I tried to call thinking they are short staffed and it may be late. I understand. I tried calling for 20 minutes and they DO NOT EVER answer their phone, not really sure why they have one. My husband gets home and sits with the kids so i can drive up to see what is going on since they don't answer the phone. I get there and the girl at the window can't find my order so she gets her manager. The manager with the blue hair asks for my phone number and once she pulls up my order states very rudely "This is a delivery, it already left! It was marked as delivery. " I then told her that i wanted it delivered and I had been trying to get threw to see what the hold up was and couldn't get an answer so i drove up because i have hungry kids. Again a roll of the eyes and she says "It's out for delivery." And closes the window...no sorry about that or anything!!! I get that people are short staffed. I managed a kitchen for 13 years, i understand the turnaround and the trouble to find good people who want to work. My kitchen was shut down when COVID started and the buisness sent all their employees home to work permanently. I just don't understand why she was so rude. So now we wont be ordering again for some time if at all from there. I have found some really good pizza places that are cheaper and have just as good of...

This has happened several times now. We order online and at the designated time we come to pick up and pizza isn’t ready. This time we did a time order so they would have 2 HOURS to get the order ready. We get here and they don’t even have a ticket for our pizzas. The young man working the window bless his soul went and got the manager like he should.

She finally came and told me they’re having technical difficulties would I like a cookie while I wait. I asked her how long it would be since I’ve already waited 15 minutes. She then blames the young man. I was livid. It wasn’t any of his fault! He was doing an excellent job! She gave me cookies. I gave her 15 minutes and it was ready. She told me she would watch them while they made the pizzas. A good manager would be helping and training. I don’t know what happened to this location, but it’s in dire need of help. I ordered two pizzas for pickup. I sent my daughter to pick it up. My daughter came home with one pizza. My daughter said she asked if that was everything and they confirmed that it was. When I called they said they would refund it since I couldn’t go back and go get it. Then they call me back that they couldn’t refund it because the order was closed and that manager doesn’t have authority to do it anymore. I asked the manager 4 times what her name was so I could go tomorrow to talk to someone else about it. She wouldn’t give me her name and I didn’t get a refund. Then I asked can you deliver the pizza and she said she would have to charge me a delivery fee. How are you going to charge me a fee after you failed to give my daughter the whole order and you couldn’t even refund my missing pizza.
