Golden Koi — Restaurant in Milford

This was legitimately the WORST Chinese food we've ever had. Absolutely disgusting. The chicken Lo mein with two small pieces of chicken, was simply a dry noodle dish. Sesame Shrimp was indescribably revolting. Moo Goo Gai Pan had virtually no sauce. Buddha's Delight was just cold steamed veggies with tofu, completely flavorless, no sauce at all. Dumplings that were supposed to be steamed were actually fried and completely dry. I'm not sure what was even in the dry spring rolls. When we called to complain. They insisted the food was good and that there was chicken in the Lo Mein. I have never, ever returned take out food. After a completely ungracious response to our phone call, we drove the food back there and they still refused to refund even half the cost of the food. That's all we asked. They finally agreed to a $30 refund out of $100. If you like throwing money away and going hungry, check it out. I wish...

Food is very good. Lo mein noodles are phenomenal. I have not seen the kind of noodles they use around the area in a very long time. Great texture and flavor. Great General Tsao's Chicken & Orange Chicken. Best sushi around. Very nice and enthusiastic staff. Almost every time the gf and I go through Milford we stop in and get something to eat. We even drive out from Peterborough to get Golden Koi. The only knock on this place ia that there really isn't a dinner combo menu. Makes it hard and more expensive to get something for the gf's kid who wants his usual boneless spare ribs, beef/chicken teriyaki, chicken fingers & crab rangoons when me & the gf are getting sushi, noodles/rice, & soup. Don't wanna have to get a Pu Pu Platter every time. But other than that great place, great...

I am 28 years old and could not find my ID. They refused to serve me with a photo of my old ID proving its indeed me and my age. Usually I understand, but concidering I come her ALL the time, I didnt think it would be an issue. Also the waitress was extreamly rude about it.
