Mr. Mac's Canteen Milford — Restaurant in Milford

First time here . Tables were not cleaned . Crumbs and bits of paper on the tables and floor. Sadly you would think with Covid protocol, they would tidy up the place . There were enough people in the facility to make the place decent.

We ordered two hotdogs and their 1/3 lb burger. No flavor and order was wrong . They put onions on the burger even when we didn’t order onions. The patty was just surfaced cooked . Seemed raw. There were 2 hotdogs sitting on the flat top stove and apparently used those for our order . The hotdogs were cooked and pruned . Seems like they have been sitting there before we got there . You would think they will Get f tree sh dogs .

We were super excited to try this place because of their 4.5 rating .

Disappointing. Hopefully management would take notice and clean up the tables and floors. And the floor rugs too...

Wow! Can I say I had an out of body experience? Jesse I have to say sir you are a GENTLEMAN plain and simple. I arrived at Mr. Macs one Monday afternoon and May I say I was not having the best day, I figured a good Philly cheese steak would cheer me up. I arrived at the counter and I seen a man screaming at ESPN channel saying…”you cost me my parlay” I giggled at the comment and replied “Hey man you’re not the only one”. Shortly after our conversation about Sunday Football Jesse told me I had to have my Steak Sandy (as he called it) with the works… Ketchup,Mayo,Salt, Pepper. So through Jesse’s wisdom I did just that. My Sandy was OUTSTANDING 10/10. Jesse has excellent customer service and really makes you feel like Family. I’ll be going back every Monday to talk about football and enjoy some good comfort...

My first & last time here. Food isn't bad, not great but okay. The food, however, is NOT the reason I won't be back. I had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with Donnie who is extremely rude, and snotty. I mistakenly forgot to ask for onions on my chili dog and you would have thought I told him I wasn't paying. He was actually mean, with a response of "next time I'll ask a easier question". He either has to be a relative or part owner because no employer would keep this guy working at his business unless he had too. Suffice it to say, my wife and I will never go back. It will be Merritt Canteen from now on and I suggest everyone do the same. Also, I actually left a tip so I could get treated like an idiot. Wonder where the mentality of such rudeness comes from?
