🌟Ultimate Bubble Tea Review Guide in Seattle🧋‼️

Modern feeling aesthetic for some classic and interesting fusion bubble tea flavors. Worth a visit for something new! I had never been here but kept seeing ads for it pop up, and was excited to learn they had an Oreo Cookie Milk Tea. Parking is easy to find as it’s located next to the Everett LA Fitness and in a strip mall area. It’s located off 99 so easy to get to as well. Inside there are a number of small tables and a big bench for seating. There are plenty of neon signs, fake vegetation, and wall decor to take nice Instagram photos with. There are also several TVs hung up and board games to play. The place was mostly empty on a Sunday afternoon, so we didn’t have to wait. I decided to order the Oreo Cookie Milk Tea with 50% Sweet and Less Ice and a Matcha Brown Sugar with 75% Sweet. The Oreo Cookie was solid all around and definitely a unique flavor. I could taste the Oreo as well as the tea flavor and it was a flavorful drink combo. They used a decent amount of crema however and towards the bottom I really started to taste the bitterness of it. The Matcha Brown Sugar was too watery however and didn’t really have a good taste. The owners came in and took orders themselves, and seemed friendly. Expect to pay around $6-$8 for a drink. Overall the shop has some interesting boba options, the space has a good vibe, and it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area!

I came here after working out at the LA Fitness next door and was thrilled the menu includes whey as an add on! I got the brown sugar boba with whey and it was very good! Next time I will get less sweet, I usually only get 50% but I wasn’t sure how much I’d want to balance the unflavored whey so I got full sweetness. (To the owners, if you offered a vegan protein powder as well, I’m sure you could get even more post-gym business as there is no smoothie shop in that LA Fitness location) The tapioca was very chewy and not hard/tough in the middle, which I liked. My kids were with me and the lady at the counter very nicely offered to split 1 drink into 2 cups since they don’t offer kid sizes, which was the perfect amount for my kids. They had the strawberry smoothie at 50% sweet and both loved it. The menu has changed, and they no longer offer takoyaki, which I had looked forward to after seeing it on here. But instead they had these cheese stuffed pancakes with optional sausage (hot dog) which we tried. I did not enjoy the sausage element but I’d get the plain cheese one again. Spent about $30 on 2 drinks and 2 of the sausage pancake things. Updated menu pic :)

Likely the best bubble tea in the area north of Seattle with offerings more unique than the standard bubble tea joint. Prices are higher than average though and not all drinks are amazing, just unique. They also seem to be slightly smaller cups? Not sure. However, the pancakes were a miss for me.

I had both the egg yolk pancake as well as the house special pancake but both were not fluffy and were instead dried out. The fillings are also spread inconsistently so that each bite can be a hit or miss in itself. Hard to judge when there's a blend of savory and sweet every other bite.

I'll begin sharing my thoughts on the toppings before the drinks. Boba is a standard that I constantly get, but it isn't perfect. It's chewy and soft, but not as flavorful as it could be. The chewiness isn't the best, nothing like golden boba but the tapioca is soft which appeals to different audiences. Grass jelly and chia seeds are as standard as can be but they truly enhance the fruity drinks here. I'm a huge advocate of crystal boba which seems to be hit or miss for people, but the crystal boba here is standard.

I've tried more drinks than the ones listed below, but the below are the most memorable. My main go-tos are the Mustache Milk Tea and Wintermelon.

Mustache Milk Tea - one of the best milk teas in the area! Tastes almost slightly roasted and like Hokkaido milk tea, caramelly. The flavor is very strong and

Wintermelon - one of my favorite drinks here, just a light refreshing taste that comes with grass jelly and chia seeds. Makes you feel hydrated and healthy just drinking it.

Durian Milk Tea - obviously, you need to like durian. If you aren't sure, I wouldn't risk it as the taste is very evident and unique. Price is heftier for a reason as durian can be pricier and it's a unique item.

Black Sesame Milk Tea - super nutty taste, a bit creamy, but overly sweet even at reduced sugar levels. You'd assume it's gritty bits of sesame seeds ground up, but it's more akin to sweet oat milk.

Wintermelon Crema - amount of crema felt disproportional to the wintermelon tea which meant a bit thicker, saltier in taste. I preferred just the wintermelon tea.

Strawberry Smoothie - nothing special to note, just blended strawberry.

Very Strawberry - not sure how this one is a top seller, was more of a "meh." Few friends agree, so I know it's not just me. However, It's was always sold out and took a few visits before being able to order it so people are either trusting the top sellers list or it's actually good to them.

Ocean Coconut - well, if tastes like the ocean made sense, that's what I would say. Honestly it's a colored coconut water loaded with ice and two big slices of coconut inside. Refreshing, but not something I'd order again as I can get coconut water anywhere.

Oreo Cookie Smoothie - blended with ice so you get ice chunks. Seems like Oreo and ice rather than milk but it's a smoothie not a milkshake I guess. Oreo and milk is the main combo though so this smoothie isn't perfect. Then there are literal ice chunks in the drink so it's not...

NO ONE should go here, I would give Zero stars if possible. An employee named “Tang” verbally assaulted, racially profiled, insulted and disrespected me - attempted to embarrass me in front of the other customers. He then refused to provide the owners information to allow me to file a complaint and/or follow up. There are dozens of other places who sell similar drinks at the same quality and price, don’t provide business to a place where they racially profile, are rude, condescending and disrespects their customers. Don’t be fooled by the fake smiles - I know I will never spend another cent here 👎🏼

EDIT: Since it does not allow me to reply to the owners comment below -

Thank you for your response, however, that is completely inaccurate and false.

As myself and multiple customers were standing there, waiting for over for 5 minutes and no one at the counter to help - I attempted to look at the name on the bag, never grabbed it. To see if it was my order or if I will have to wait even longer Your employee then came out and accused me of trying to steal. Due to my skin being brown, he immediately accused me of trying to steal, which was not the case. He followed that accusation up with yelling at me, insulting me, and telling me to leave or he was going to call the police.

Instead, what he should have done is say “I’m sorry I was in the back taking long, are you here for an order? Also, please try not to check the name on the bags and wait for me to come out. Thank you” - that would have been the professional way to handle the situation

Not only do I deliver for customers at your establishment, I personally have bought lots of drinks there over the last couple years and spent A Lot of money. After this interaction and horrible experience, that will change. Thanks...

Been coming here since its inception and I have to say they are locally owned and operated and have a more "hand-made" taste and quality compared to the other corporate bubble tea shops.

They bubble tea takes a little longer to make because most of it is from scratch instead of pre-made powders or toppings. Flavor is sweet, but not to sweet to get you lethargic. "Asian Sweet" if you will. Fully adjustable sweetness profiles for most of their boba drinks.

  • DRINKS * My favorite is the Wintermelon Boba Tea, its just the right sweetness without leaving a weird after taste in your mouth. In addition, its a refreshing taste.

Their "Salted Egg Yolk Fresh Milk Boba" is very good as well. Not many bubble tea places can pull this off. Hence, why its not a popular find in other shops, but this place pulls it off perfectly. Appropriate toppings and preparation makes it not just a "literal cup of milk". 10/10 for this particular drink.

  • ENVIRONMENT *

Environment was clean and inviting. No qualms here. Nice decor, nothing over the top. Basic for a boba tea shop. Good seating and cool neon signs all over the store.

  • CUSTOMER SERVICE *

They had one person working the front and at least 3 in the back preparing toppings and drinks. Drinks were a little slower to come out, but it is expected for fresh boba tea. I would rather wait an extra 5 minutes than get premade boba powder tea. Delicious. Front desk sales guy was friendly and was quick to answer any questions.

  • SUMMARY *

Will come again, highly recommend. Wait times are a tad bit longer than usual, but its worth the wait. All boba tea orders are freshly made and the time is...
