Boudin Bakery — Restaurant in Millbrae

I ordered at the Boudin at SFO International Terminal A at around 10:30 pm on Aug 29, 2023. The lady at the checkout counter yelled at me for no reason. I first asked to order a burger, she said no burger. I asked what do you have? She mumbled 'rest'. I didn't hear clearly what she said so I repeated 'rest?' Then she started yelling at me 'i said NO burger! ALL REST available!!!' and she started pointing. Obviously she thinks that I don't speak Enligsh well because I am an Asian female. Wow, terrible location. Avoid at all cost. Got here at 6 p.m. ... many hours before closing. They are out of everything ... wait, there are hundreds (literally) of baguettes and breads and bowls behind the counter, but apparently you can't buy them because they are only for sandwiches and chowders. I mean really? I get it when they are out of everything right before closing, but in the middle of the day? And refusing to sell things they clearly have? Horrendous. Looking at the ratings for this location compared to others ... I think mgt needs to make some changes ... until...

I ordered clam chowder and a salad. The taste was about 3 stars, but the attitude of the staff—especially one of the older ladies—was absolutely terrible. The owner should visit the restaurant regularly and check how the staff are treating customers. No matter how good the food might be, with service like that, it ruins the experience, and I wouldn’t even give it one star.
