🔥 Thai Eatary Review Update: The Dish Breakdown That’ll Make You Cancel Dinner Plans! 🔥
Hold your takeout apps—Thai Eatary just leveled up my foodie standards, and I need to rave about the exact dishes that turned me into a Thai cuisine evangelist. Spoiler: If you’re not drooling by the end of this, check your pulse.
First Impressions? Feast for the Eyes (and Ears!) Walking in, the vibe was warm and buzzing—think modern Bangkok meets cozy college hangout. But the real showstopper? The sizzle of woks, the aromatic punch of lemongrass and chili wafting through the air, and plates that looked like edible art (yes, I snapped pics—prepare for Instagram envy).
🔥 Ga-Pow-Rad-Khao (Holy Basil Minced Meat): MY NEW OBSESSION Imagine a dish that slaps your taste buds awake like an alarm clock for foodies. Juicy minced meat wok-tossed with garlic, chilies, and a mountain of fresh holy basil, served over a crispy fried egg (!!). The heat builds slowly—like a spicy crescendo—while the basil adds an herbal punch that’s addictively bold. Pro tip: Pair it with jasmine rice to soak up every last drop of that savory-spicy sauce.
💚 Green Curry: A Coconut Dream My friend’s green curry was creamy chaos in the best way—tender chicken swimming in a velvety coconut broth packed with bamboo shoots, Thai eggplant, and lemongrass. The heat? Just enough to make your nose glisten, balanced by that subtle sweetness. It’s the kind of curry that makes you want to lick the bowl (no shame).
🍚 Chicken Fried Rice: Comfort Food, Elevated Not your average takeout fried rice! This version was wok-kissed perfection—fluffy grains, smoky from the high heat, studded with tender chicken, crisp veggies, and a whisper of fish sauce for umami depth. Simple? Maybe. Memorable? Absolutely.
🌿 Basil Chicken Entree: Herbal Heaven My other friend’s basil chicken was a flavor bomb—tender chicken strips stir-fried with bell peppers, onions, and a generous handful of basil. The sauce? Sweet, salty, and just a touch of spice. It’s the dish that proves Thai cuisine turns even the basics into magic.
Why This Meal Converted an Indian Food Fanatic As someone who lives for bold spices (hey, garam masala), Thai Eatary’s dishes hit that same complex, layered note. The basil-heavy entrees? They’re like the Thai cousin of our beloved Indian curries—herby, fiery, and deeply satisfying. And that fried rice? Let’s just say it gives biryani a run for its money. Move over, butter chicken—Thai Eatary just rewired my taste buds! As someone who swore loyalty to Indian cuisine (hello, spice tolerance and masala magic), I never imagined another culinary culture could hit all the right notes. But this gem? It’s a masterpiece that dazzled every sense, and here’s why you need to book a table ASAP.
The Verdict? Cancel Your Weekend Plans. Go Here. Sharing these dishes with friends was a moment—a symphony of clinking forks, “OMG try this!” demands, and silent, blissful chewing. Thai Eatary isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a flavor playground where every dish feels like a discovery.
The X-Factor? Pure Joy This isn’t just dinner—it’s a vibe. Sharing dishes with friends, laughing over Thai iced teas, and feeling the zing of every bite… it’s the kind of meal that turns strangers into regulars. The staff? Angels who guided us through the menu with genuine excitement.
Final Verdict: 11/10 Thai Eatary didn’t just meet my cravings—it created new ones. If you’re a spice seeker, a flavor adventurer, or just someone who thinks “good food” should mean “unforgettable,” run here. Tell your friends, your.

Read moreI rarely write reviews, only when I feel very strongly that a restaurant is great or not so great. Unfortunately, Thai Eatery falls into the latter category. Full disclosure I have only eaten here once, with my family (a relatively large party at 6), a few months ago.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere was cramped and uncomfortable and the space felt like it was at or over capacity. Their chairs and space are laughably tight. The air is stuffy and a little difficult to breathe. There was also no music, which felt a little weird for a restaurant that's packed full of people.
Service: Granted we did come with a larger party on a Saturday, and I know restaurants are not immune to labor shortages, but the wait time was still absurd. It took around 75 minutes for us to get our food, and when one member of our party did not have their food prepared correctly, it took an additional 40 minutes for that one dish to be made. The overall time commitment for us to eat at this restaurant was nearly 2.5 hours. The wait staff are perfectly pleasant, but the prep times are atrocious.
Food: I'm willing to overlook a lot of other areas if a place has good food. Thai Eatery should have a certificate on the wall for the most "okay-est" Thai food you will ever eat. The food we got lacked any distinct Thai flavors (think basic things, like Thai basil) that you might experience at a more refined establishment, and the portions are hilariously tiny. When our food finally arrived, a member of our party said "yes! I'm so hungry... wait, this is the tiniest Panang Curry I have ever seen, this can't be right," which elicited a laugh from the table. I also got a curry (the Massaman Curry) and experienced the same thing: the portions are absurdly tiny for the prices this place charges.
Overall: long winded review, but anyway, you get the picture. Small portions, high prices, poor service, uncomfortable environment. 1/5 feels generous- Thai Eatery definitely has...
Read moreI have been coming to this restaurant since it opened. The food used to be fantastic. However, it has become mediocre at best. Also, the prices and portions do not match. Tonight I ordered takeout: two dishes with tofu as the protein. I even specified “less tofu, more veggies.” Well, I certainly got less tofu- four tiny pieces in each dish. However, they charged me two dollars for “extra tofu” for each dish. Also, I requested brown rice instead of the standard white rice. Nowhere on the online menu did it say that brown rice would cost extra if substituted. I was charged $3.95 for a tiny amount of brown rice, and my receipt stated it was a ‘side order.’ However, it was not a side order, given in addition to the regular portion of rice with the meal. I was only given the smaller-than-normal container of brown rice. The amount of rice the give for takeout is considerably less than any other restaurant I have ever ordered from. In some cases, it is half the amount that other places provide. HOWEVER, I spoke with the owner who explained that sometimes newer staff do not understand how to charge things properly, which I can understand. He also enabled me to have a re-do of the meals at no charge, which I really appreciated. Mistakes happen, but if the establishment does something to correct them, I am pleased. The small portions and mediocre food remain something to be critiqued, but I very much appreciate the restaurants willingness to make things, right. Lastly, the parking situation is tricky, and the pot holes in the parking lot are horrendous- it desperately needs...
