Originally enjoyed Primanti’s. However, the last time I went I felt disrespected and ignored. This happened previously, but I shrugged that time off thinking it’s just a one-off. But most recently, I walked in with my child, provided my phone number to wait for a table, and specifically requested a lower table to accommodate a high chair. Over 30 minutes later, we walk back in and I ask about my table being ready, and the hostess tells me there was something wrong when she put my phone number in the system, so I never got a text. Problem number 1, as this happened before too. Problem number 2 - they bring me to a high top table, and I say again, I need a high chair, thinking that she forgot and would re-seat us. She proceeds to not bring the high chair, and my kiddo and I are just sitting there, completely ignored. 10 minutes pass and one woman asked if I needed help….. are you kidding me? I explain again that I asked for high chair now 3 times, and she brings one over, of course to find that the top of the chair sits a good foot below the table itself, so my baby’s head would have been aligned with the bottom of the table. That’s cool if she wants to eat off of my lap….? I explain, that clearly this isn’t going to work. She just said she’s sorry, and said if I need anything else to ask. Yeah, I do… but I’m tired of asking. I just left. We went home and ate, I was so distraught with how incompetent the staff here is. As I mentioned previously, this happened before, and I gave them another try, only to find they still can’t function and help a mom and her child get to a table effectively. I don’t even want to write to anyone and get a gift card. I won’t be returning. Adding photo from a visit previously before having my kiddo with me just to let you know to never order pizza by the slice. Apparently the kitchen staff thought...

Read moreThis is my second time visiting a Primanti Brothers establishment. It reminds me, just a little, of the chain Panini's Bar and Grill. Now, I haven't been to Panini's in quite a long time, but I was "pennie pinching" this week and had to burn some time before leaving town. I had decided to visit Primanti Brothers because I remember that they had a nice fair, atmosphere, and prices....but just vaguely. I sat at the bar, famished from having my car breakdown yesterday and all in all had walked 16 miles around this town...only had serving or 2 of Mac and cheese I brought from home the day prior....and overslept.the free breakfast at the hotel nearby. Needless to say, I couldn't make a mistake when it came to buying the one meal that I could afford before shamefully boarding a greyhound back to my new state of Massachusetts. In a few hours time, I will board a bus for a 17 hour trek with very little to no food or money. Let me tell you, I am a top 10% google guide - restaurant reviewer...so don't take it lightly when I say Primanti Brothers is an awesome value, and you must at least have lunch there once this year, because that economic inflation blister we are forced to wear so proudly, will feel unrecognizable. I had the Steak and Cheese (Big Bro) sandwich. Best value in quite some...
