“We haven’t done root beer frosty floats here in a few years sir”
Me thinking: Give me a break! I got one there just a month ago!
Me: “I got one there just a month ago.”
Employee: “Well they have not sold root beer frosty floats for as long as I’ve worked here, and I’ve worked here for a year, sir.”
Me: “That’s not true. I got one there just a month ago.”
Employee: “Well they have not sold it for as long as I’ve worked here, sir, and I’ve been working here for a year.”
Me: “Can I please speak to the manager?”
Employee: “I am the manager.”
(I hang up)
This “manager” obviously doesn’t know what she’s talking about! I apparently seem to know more about what is going on down there than she does, and I’ve never even worked there! I however have been going there on and off for the past fourteen years! And yes I did get a root beer float there in the past “year”! Read moreWorst experience. I've been coming to this Wendy's for over 5 years because I work in the area and it has been going down hill for the last year or so. Today our drive thru experience (on a half hour lunch break) took almost 20 minutes. When the attendant apologized for the wait, she literally told us the sandwich maker didn't give a f**k and was going really slow. Great customer service there. Then we were told to pull up and watch several customers behind us get their food and leave while we still waited. Then what looked like the manager brought our food finally, didn't apologize for the wait just said the burger would be really hot. Apparently they close at 10pm and won’t serve you even if you’re up to the intercom and waiting for them to take your order before 10pm. Got to this Wendy’s about 9:54pm, granted we were there close to closing unbeknownst to us at the time, and waited in line. Sat at the intercom and waited a couple more minutes and got turned away because they’re closed. Really you close while we’re sitting here waiting for you to take our order then when you finally come on you turn us away?!
