Chicken Holiday — Restaurant in Milltown

I recently visited Chicken Holiday, and it was a pretty disappointing experience. My curiosity led me to stop by this place I hadn't visited in ages (I used to go to the one on Rt. 27 - Edison), but the food and service were not worth the high price.

Although the customer service was okay, the staff was relatively slow. I had to wait a long time to get my order, and unfortunately, the food was not worth the wait. The sides were extraordinarily greasy and lacked flavor, even for fried food standards. The chicken was bland, excessively oily, and not well cooked. It was packed in a container with soggy, flavorless ribs swimming in grease. I was highly disappointed with the overall quality of the food.

The restroom needed to be in better condition. A plastic bag was draped over the door with a handwritten "out-of-order" sign. Is there a working restroom in the back? It was not a pleasant experience.

Although the person at the register was friendly and chatty, I shouldn't have trusted his opinion on the food. I still have the leftovers in my fridge after 3 days (forgot to throw them out), and I will NEVER RETURN unless they ask me to come pick up my refund.

In conclusion, I recommend Chicken Holiday only if you want a slow and disappointing food experience. I don't know if I went on a bad day (all 4 of us were disappointed, over $100 spent - it was like we threw our dollars...

Have ordered here and everything I order the price changes. The online menus because there is more then one attached to the business have different prices and when I questioned it the man with the accent said he does not know how they got there and he said other people have complained Today I ordered a 4 piece chicken meal with fries and a roll. When it was picked up an extra order of wedge fries were ordered by my brother in law. So when my Husband got tje order there were no fries with his chicken meal and he was still charged for the meal When I called the man with the accent was very rude and argued with me and said he gave the fries and wouldn't let me talk . First of all let me start off by saying I had ordered eight piece wing with a side french fries and two biscuits and the price was 26.66 not worth even a penny I had to wait over 20 minutes for it to be cooked the one chicken that was in there was I don’t know sitting around must’ve been forever it was pink on the inside and dry the coleslaw tasted like dirt and the french fries were bland no sea salt no nothing and the two biscuits were like mush. I would never ever spend my hard Earned Money on that food ever again I could’ve went to KFC.I really have a right mind to ask them for a refund that’s how bad it was very disappointing in their food. Don’t go to chicken Holiday if you want the chicken the chicken is horrible...
