Cheese Steak Shop — Restaurant in Milpitas

Location is kind of hidden in a back parking lot. The App does not have this location even though they have apparently been here for many years. “Your guess is as good as mine” As I walked inside I was not really impressed, the place was not really clean and at the same time not dirty either, just kind of blah. Honestly if my friend hadn’t told me to go I probably would have walked out. Now here’s where I opened the book and started reading C; They have an easy to read menu, I ordered the Large Motown “came with mushrooms + onions & peppers at no extra cost. Curly fries and a small drink $16.87 out the door. The curly fries are on par with the rest of the worlds curly fries 3.5 stars. The sandwich. OH MOMMY!!!!! BAH-IG-AH!!!

Bread roll supper soft but not chewy, cheese, meat and toppings EVERYWHERE!!! The taste??? Hands down the best I’ve tasted in the valley thus far!! Normally I would have saved 1/2 the sandwich for later being it was so big but it slid down my gullet with ease as though it was just a small appetizer. Soooo good 5 stars for the sandwich all day long. Employees were friendly and of course made a mean sandwich 5 stars. I highly recommend...

Came here for a quick lunch a couple of weeks ago. I dediced to get a "Hoagie" which comes with choice of meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. I didn't want mayo so I asked for that to be left off. They also have 3 sizes of sandwiches, half, large and king. I just wanted a half sandwich. Well the lady working the counter didn't bother to ask what size and it wasn't until she rang me up and I looked at the cost that I noticed she charged me for a large. Since she had already rang me up and it seemed like a hassle to get my money back I decided to just accept the large sandwich and have the rest for leftovers.

I got the sandwich to go and when I got back to my office I opened up the wrapper and sure enough the sandwich has mayo all over it. I HATE mayo. So I drove all the way back and asked for a new sandwich. Got it made correctly the second time but how hard is it to leave mayo off of sandwich??? Not only that but the woman working wasn't very friendly. She was working by herself and maybe she was stressed out but it shouldn't be too difficult to be friendly.

SMALL PLACE BUT BIG SAMMIES. AROUND THESE PARTS, ONES CHOICES FOR A GOOD PHYLLY ARE VERY LIMITED AS MOST EATERIES SEEM TO HAVE AN ASIAN FLAIR. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. HOWEVER, THERE ARE MORE THAN JUST ASIANS LIVING AROUND HERE SO THERE SHOULD BE PLACES TO EAT FOR THE NOT SO ASIAN PERSUASION. THE CHEESE STEAK SHOP HELPS FILL THAT VOID. THE ROLLS ARE STEAMED, WITH HOT WATER STEAM NOT MAD STEAM, THE MEAT IS PERFECTLY COOKED, THE ONIONS AND PEPPERS ARE WELL CUT AND NOT OBNOXIOUSLY LARGE. ABOUT 8 DIFFERENT VARIATIONS BUT REALLY THEY'LL PUT WHATEVER YOU WANT ON IT SO PROBABLY 100'S OF DIFFERENT COMBINATIONS. FAIRLY QUICK TO GET THE FOOD OUT TO YOU. ORDER AND PICKUP AT THE COUNTER. TYPICAL FOUNTAIN DRINKS IE; PEPSI, LEMONADE ETC. NOT MUCH ROOM FOR MORE THAN IDK, TEN TO FIFTEEN PEOPLE TO SIT AND EAT INSIDE. SO, GO TO THE CHEESE STEAK SHOP TELL THEM WHAT YOU WANT ON IT AND ENJOY.
