I didn’t have any food as the Linch option is only Mon-Thur and I came on a Saturday (doing laundry-best place in town cheap clean machines a 4loader is only4.75)- anyway When I walked in the guy behind a table says “yes”, it appeared that it was takeout only and since I was not familiar and don’t really have a go to when it comes to any Indian dish- I just asked do you serve chai—- then I notices gentleman sitting in a booth and asked can I sit down to eat I. Here, Man said yes and I sat and went through the menu online and the booklet
The prices are advertised more online than an the actual book in restaurant— I am not sure what I really wanted to eat looking over the menu it was kind of hard to decide
So finally settled on a dessert the paan a mixture of sweet condiments wrapped in betel but leaf— they didn’t have
Oh wow but like I said the customer service and what led me to review
A Man comes in asked for restroom than sits he is immediately greeted given water etc, I was not approached so humbly
Which really is left a bitter feeling to not want anything, many times I usually get rice from these spots-I grew up a rice eater so it’s my thing but maybe next time
$4 for the tea is just ridiculous to me it is what it is,maybe my look throws folks off But I’m just a patron and want to be seen as an individual coming into an establishment to enjoy its offerings
The place does look nice and I’ll return bring the homie next time who looks like them maybe I will be...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant and had a bit of a mixed experience. I ordered the chicken butter masala and garlic butter naan, requesting mild spiciness. However, the chicken butter masala was still quite spicy, I expected it to be more on the sweeter side. I specifically asked for reduced spice, but I’m not sure if they really adjusted it.
Next, I got the paradise chicken biryani, which I usually love and most of the times order from here. Again, I requested mild spices, but it felt like the spice level was the same as usual. I’ve had their biryani many times before, and this time it didn’t meet my expectations in terms of customization. I’m not sure if there was a miscommunication with the chef or servers that day.
On a positive note, the gulab jamun was delicious and hit the right spot. The portion sizes are good for the price, and if you enjoy spicy food, you’ll likely enjoy the dishes here. The ambience is also great—clean, well-maintained, and comfortable.
Overall, it’s a decent place, but they need to pay more attention to customizing spice levels as per customer requests. I’ll probably give it another try, but I hope they improve on this aspect next time.
Old review: Got the paradise chicken biryani and Paneer dum biryani. The chicken biryani was okayish….was expecting it to be more good 😃 The paneer in the paneer biryani was not as soft as it should be. The Shezwan paneer was fine too…not a lot quantity but not too less. The service and...
Read moreI ordered a Biriyani and a fried rice. The salan provided to me was spoiled so i had to report this to the person who served the food. He started to defend saying the salan in sour because they use some extra Tamarind. I started to question myself if am wrong, asked the person who’s with me to confirm if he feels it is spoiled or is it what the server mentioned. He too confirmed that the salan was spoiled and we reported this to the Manager over there. He agreed that the salan was spoiled as the temperature inside kitchen was too warm and it got spoiled by the evening even though they made this in the morning. At the end i paid the bill and have to leave as the spoiled salan ruined the taste and of the Biriyani as i felt like throwing up. The restaurant manager put on a poker face and i don’t think he will realize what had happened. It felt like this kind of issues are normal or not a big deal for him.
The reason am writing this review is that, it was around 6.30 pm we went in for dine in. By then i noticed many to go orders and doordash orders keep on coming and being picked up as well. Imagine how many individuals have to eat the spoiled food without their knowledge and how much attention does the store really put in to make sure they’re meeting the minimum food safety standards. Does the store take responsibility if any of the customers get sick because of this kind of spoiled food ? I really wish the store owner looks at this review and brings in...
