So this is my 3rd stay here in about 3 months and many more on the way...the hotel is conveniently located right off the main St easy to get to...Good amount of places to grab a bite and drink right down the street..(turn left out of parking lot) mostly Indian food but hey who doesn’t like Indian food...if you not a fan of the curry..drive a little bit further and you’ll get to the great mall area...(kfc right across the street) back to the hotel..this property is will lit and bright so safe..it seems like the remodel is still in place but the rooms are well done roomy..no carpet just hardwood floors but in California it’s ok because it doesn’t get that cold to wear you can touch the floor bare foot...the bathroom shower is a good size..just the shower head and shower pressure could use a boost..the room door also could be replaced doesn’t seem to close properly but it closes and locks so dose the job..The tv if you have issues changing the channel there are instructions on the TV guide paper takes about 5-7 mins for set up to complete which I personally think that should be done by Housekeeping and or maintenance before guest check inn..but like I said..they are in process of redoing the hotel so In due time..Staff is very good! Friendly and knowledgeable ..my only two biggest quote on quote complains...Parking and breakfast....
Parking.. A..need a few more parking spots but due to the acreage and way hotel is set up might be impossible.. B..Need more Spaces between parking spots due to most people just like in pre-school can’t coulndt color in between the lines now they can’t park in between the parking lines...then you have these “bros” that drive these lifted big trucks that take up two parking spots for no reaon
Breakfast...
A...Breakfast area is way small it’s in the same area as the lobby..of there’s 6 people in there it’s crowed...the breakfast set up area also is small and congested..
B...Options for breakfast are bare bare minimum..not much there to offer..if you just want a quick grab and go then it’s ok..but for family sit down..not so much...
But like I said hopefully from the remodel they take care of these issues....overall this place is good quite clean..beds are comfy pillows are soft ...like I said this stay was my 3rd in 3 months..going back in...
Read moreStay far away from this ghetto AF hotel. Worst place I have ever stayed. I like to save my reviews for places that deserve a 4 star or higher recognition but this place made me angry enough to reveal it's one star worth rating. ||||I needed a place to stay overnight between apartment leases. This place popped up on the Hotels app and looked nice enough for a few hours. I could not have been more wrong.||||The room looked fine walking in. But there are no curtains. They have shutters so if you want sunlight, it means anyone can see into your room. The gaps in the shutters are about 6 inches apart. Ok fine, no sunlight to preserve privacy so I kept them shut. Shutters do not keep the very bright streetlight light from shining through. You can hear everything happening around the hotel. Your neighbors. The rolling cart in the hallway being pushed at all hours. The blaring EDD/Rap in the parking lot from guests. ||||I walk into the bathroom. There is mold. The shelves need help. The seat in the handicapped bathroom is stained purple. The shower drain is even with the rest of the bathroom which means water splashes out about 3 feet from the shower.||||Room was dark and had incredibly poor ventilation. I could smell people smoking cigarettes from inside my room. Even with their AC unit on all night, I would wake up in a sweat to turn it down. ||||Is it worth the headache of moving all my stuff, re masking, and going to inform the front desk? I didn't think so but I wish I had. ||||I forgot my blanket there so called back the same day. No one turned it in. Ok so what does that mean? "I don't know. Can you call back when the manager is here." Sure||||Herschel, the manager tells me there was "never a blanket in the room"and that his employees have turned in laptops and cellphones, "valuables" so why would they jeopardize their job for a blanket? Good question my guy. After it "it's just a blanket" ||||He tells me he can't do anything about it. He has no blanket for me and he can't address the issues in the room because my stay is already over. They could have switched me to a suite if I had told them during my stay. Something about the way they dealt with a measly missing blanket that makes me highly doubt...
Read moreFirst off, nice looking spot. Wasn't bad, and it didn't feel too sketchy. We walk into the office to check in for the night and talk to the guy behind the desk. I don't recall his name but he was Indian. When asking for my ID to check in, he breaks out a calculator and silently starts tapping on his computer, staring at my id like he thinks it's fake, and insists on taking my guest's ID to scrutinize as well. Which is entirely irrelevant to my checking in to the room, as the age of my guest makes no difference. Now, I'm 18 years old, and so I recognize the fact that some discretion may be taken, but the way he treated us just because of my age was rude and impolite. After about five or ten minutes of his staring at my ID and silently typing and clicking on his computer, he finally gave us the key to the room I booked. When I thought this odd experience was over, it wasn't. This man stood, hands on his hips, right against the window and watched us from the office grab our suitcases from the car and march up the stairs to our room. We were unsettled to say the least. Once we were in our room, it wasn't bad. The room seemed nice, if not a little hospital feeling what with how echoey and empty it felt. But there wasn't anything wrong with it. Beds were cozy, and we had an ac and fan to control within the room. At about 10 at night, though, there was some loud music and conversation going on across from us in the parking lot, and it sounded like somebody's tires were skidding across the pavement not too far away from us. Glad to have a view of the parking lot to watch my car from the window. I won't be staying here again, but it wasn't the worst place you could...
