El Barrio Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Milton

Today I stopped in this to this Mexican restaurant grill that I always past by called El Barrio. Tucked in the corner in Central Ave Milton..this place is small but does have a nice atmosphere, nicely decorated and a couple seats with a street window view in case you want to have a bite inside. They had a good selection on the menu but I was in a rush so I chose a couple chicken empanadas. They did take a little longer than I expected unfortunately. Something like this item is usually ready to be packaged for someone looking to just pick up and go but they were made fresh so I can’t complain about that. The empanadas were on the dry side and could have used a little more seasoning. The chipotle mayo on the side definitely helped them out a lot but probably won’t be something I order from there again. I will be back to try their other choices though I’m interested in...

ive been living in boston for a long time, theres an el barrio closer to where i live and i only ever go here. i work at the nail salon across the street and get my dinner there. they close at 9 and their atmosphere is comforting and chill. theres outdoor seating and indoor bar seating. they were very understanding, hospitable and dealt with my long winded order and request for recommendations. drinks are good and dessert is phenomenal. the staff is funny, caring and they make sure your food is good. best quality...
