River Street Grill — Restaurant in Boston

First in Foremost, I don't like to be treated like a fool. Unfortunately I came at the wrong time. When some idiot ordered food and didn't pick up. Well my dumbass must of order seven pieces of left over chicken. Why well, when I order a fish and chip and less than 10 minutes my order was done?. My fish was smoking hot but my chicken was warm. The only thing that the three ladies can tell me is that the food was just sitting for 5 minutes (interesting) I just ordered like lest than 10 minutes ago. To make a long story short I've worked in restuarants and never told a customer some BS and never served cold food! (I'm Picky) and btw it was at the end of the night like I didn't know this!....Yes ...The food is good but to make a customer feel like.. pay for the sh&%$$ that was sitting...Next time Keep your mouth shut! when your frustrated talking to a customer that didn't pick up the chicken that you ended up seling me!....I will not be buying food from this place as long as you are serving people like that!! What an insult!....I work hard just like anyone else and my money is worth it! So why not give me what I've paid for HOT FRESH FOOD! Never again! blame the...

I have been ordering from this establishment for years. On Monday I ordered a grilled chicken salad with extra chicken. When I got it home there was clearly no extra chicken on it. I called spoke to Fernando he was very apologetic said next time I come in he would give me another salad no charge not a problem. I went this evening and was quite shocked to find myself going back and forth over a salad that I was not suppose to be charged for with a woman who identified herself as the night manager. She told me she knew nothing about this despite one of the employees remembering the situation and me providing her with the original receipt. I told her of my previous discussion with Fernando which she all but dismissed, and after going back and forth for several minutes she says I’ll credit you $4.00 the cost of the extra chicken. I thought she must be joking but she was not. I left the salad there and that was enough for me to no longer patronize River Street Grille and let my experience be known. This is probably one of the worse reviews I have ever written. I will NOT step back in to this establishment again; ownership has changed clearly as this was a go to spot for many years. The owners or supervisor need to work at night before they are out of business because clearly the young adults that are working do not care about the customers, shut the grill down early and roll their eyes if you want to order. I was with my fiancée and it was 7:10 pm and we were reading the board and the young woman stated they were closing shortly and the grill was off, first off I know you want to clean and get out of work but if the places closes at 8, it closes at 8 and you clean and all that after the store is closed as you get paid an hourly rate or even 7:45 would be reasonable, and it would have been fine ether way as we could have ordered something cold that didn't require the grill but the tone, attitude and the yelling back to the young man while trying to order was enough for us to walk out and go to Dumpling...
