If you want a culinary experience that provides unmatched service with exquisite food and drinks look no further than Nahm Fine Thai Cuisine.
Ambience - the inside at Nahm’s is intimate and beautifully decorated. There is also an outside patio that is surrounded by numerous plants, accent lights and soft jazz music.
Hospitality - the service at Nahm’s is the very best I have experienced. It is apparent that providing the highest quality service is something that the entire staff believes in and has become an integral part of the culture at Nahm’s.
Cocktails - Nahm’s has one of the most unique and creative cocktail menus I have ever seen. The hand-crafted drinks are delicious and prepared and garnished with the best ingredients and uncompromising quality. Below are two I strongly recommend.
Whisky Daisy. Woodford Reserve, Orgeat syrup, senior's orange Curacao, lemon juice, simple syrup, honeycomb.
Perfect Gentleman. Hendrick's gin and tonic with organic cucumber, star anis, black peppercorn. Very refreshing.
Starters - the appetizers at Nahm’s are amazing, and crafted with a variety of meats, vegetables, spices and herbs that takes traditional appetizers to the next level. Here are some of my favorites:
Fried Mushroom with Sweet Chili Sauce (fried mushroom verities tossed with sweet chili sauce, cashew nut, mint, cilantro, scallion, shallot, tomato.)
Ka-Nom Jeen Jumbo Lump Crab Curry. This is a signature Thai dish with jumbo lump crab curry sauce served with fine rice noodle, fried shallot, bean sprout, basil leaves.
Tom Kha with chicken and shrimp is a creamy galangal coconut milk soup.
Dinner Specials - Nahm’s has a variety of authentic Thai entrees to choose from with different vegetarian and protein options. I tried the main dishes below and they are so good, the very best Thai food I have ever had!
Choo Chee Salmon and Jumbo Sea Scallop with red curry.
Chilean Seabass with ginger soy sauce.
Braised Beef Short Ribs with Massaman curry.
Pad Kra Pao (basil), a classic Thai stir fry dish that I like to get with ground chicken and shrimp.
Dessert - I strongly recommend the famous coconut cake. So light and fluffy, there is no better way to end a...
Read moreWent to Nahm last night to celebrate my birthday, and have been frequent diners of the establishment for Lunch and Dinner over many years. The last three times we have been there the standard of food each time has declined and last night was no different. In addition the prices like most places recently have increased sharply and the menu has got smaller and portion sizes have shrunk. It should be noted that another table in ear shot to us expressed the same opinion about the increased prices. We ordered the Chicken Satay and Crispy Spring Rolls as Appetizers, and both presented excellently, however the Chicken Satay was stone cold and we said nothing. For Entrees we ordered the Chicken Fried Rice x 2 and Chicken Pineapple w/Cashew. All presented beautifully but the Chicken Pineapple w/Cashew was sporadically cold to taste. Not sure if the Half Pineapple core used to present the plate was cold, or if the time the ingredients spent in the Wok was not long enough, equally the Chicken was rubbery in terms of texture. I have had the same dish for lunch at Nahm and on that occasion it was much better. Overall we like to take our time between dishes and never order all courses at the same time but given the speed at which our Entrees arrived at our table last night I can’t help think that this dish was not freshly cooked but some portions of the ingredients reheated. We returned it to the kitchen and they immediately prepared a fresh dish, which was a lot warmer, but the Chicken was still rubbery. It was indicated at the time of reservation that it was a birthday celebration and unlike previous celebrations Nahm did nothing to acknowledge the event nor did we stay to order desert based on the experience and more importantly the prices. This will be the last time I would consider Nahm in the near future, the restaurant it would seem has determined the size /price of it menu to give them best value for money but this did not translate for us...

Shrimp Dumplings These dumplings were delightful, filled with succulent shrimp and topped with a light garlic crumble and sesame seeds. The wrappers were delicate yet held the filling well.
