Club 99 — Restaurant in Milwaukee

This bar is one I frequent whenever I go out. I don't go out much but when I do over the years I always make this bar my last stop as it's always been a good time. Atmosphere is fun, bartender is is great, and playing music/sports games/fight night (boxing)/ or watching people play darts, it's a great time. Walked in, bartender was great as always, ordered drinks, and they just seemed off. Both cocktails were "off". Didn't watch the bartender make them but it was a pretty busy night and she was the only one working so disregarded it as a one off. Ordered another cocktail, and this time watched her pour a double (which was what I ordered) but as I watched her pour it it didn't come out the right shade of color. Received my drink and once again it tasted "off". Didn't finish my cocktail at that point, left the bar, went two blocks down to another one and ordered my cocktail there, where that off taste wasn't present anymore. Sad that the same cocktail (double + coke) ordered at two different bars can taste drastically different. Sad what this...

Really nice corner bar, darts, TVs, games. Decent beer selection and just about any liquor you want. Maker's Mark, Jack Daniel's Tennessee Apple, Effen Cucumber, you name it, they got it! Awesomely friendly bartenders (especially Pat) and sometimes a man will play some songs on a guitar and rhythmically drum on the wooden stools. Fantastic!...

This is more than just a bar, it is a community. Club 99 is the best family-owned bar in the state of Wisconsin. The drinks always hit the spot and are affordable.
