Wow! Just wow!!! I was blown away at how laid back the atmosphere was inside, and I was really surprised at how simple the entire experience was to access amazing dishes that are such a beautiful addition to the Brady Street experience; the menu is simple, the kitchen is serious, and the overall product is refreshing and derives from a nontraditional approach of creating Asian gastro-bar cuisine, and far away from the traditional dive-bar experience. Easy Tyger is a bar at heart, and they offer fantastic cocktails [Lemongrass] and a surprisingly impressive wine list - wine flights are also available. A gastro-bar experience is another perfect way to spend your time on Brady Street, and you can expect a casual atmosphere, clean, and with a very charismatic bar setting, which encourages great socializing moments. The bar is great, and the performance of the bartender making your cocktails is a delight to watch! This is a great opportunity for meeting up with friends, casual dates, lunch dates, and casual bar seating. The service is top notch, and the serving staff is very talented. However, the cooking staff also offers their talents in creating nontraditional ramen dishes, flavorful brussel sprout appetizers, and bao buns. Furthermore, this gastro-bar delivers a unique bar experience because the bar is a small part of the overall area, which creates a more intimate opportunity to talk and gossip. The bar is also a great opportunity to start your night on Brady Street, and you will find yourself drinking martinis or wine and eating flavorful apps in no time! Easy Tyger has a great reputation, and their ability to deliver a superior product is a blessing to the Brady Street neighborhood.

Easy Tyger is a great meal away from the everyday of modern cuisine. With it's twist on asian cusine and homey decor, it's easy to get to miss this hidden gem of a restaurant amongst the montage of old school taverns, bars, and shops along Brady Street. It's true what they...the Bao buns ARE insanely good! Tasty, doughy ,almost taco like, stuffed with your choice of brisket, fried chicken, pork belly, or tofu. And they are worth getting! Beef dumplings in the yummy, umami broth with sesame was an axcellent choice as well. Honestly, everyone raves about the fried brussel sprouts, and while highly tasty, I found myself diverting from them because they were so fried and greasy, it was just too rich to eat more than a couple of bites. I also really enjoyed the shrimp harumaki... yes it is salty and deep fried and oh so yummy! Drinks were great, I particularly enjoyed their take on the mule, it was light refreshing and a great contrast to our food options. Our waitress was present but not overbearing and my only complaint, and it's minor because we were warned, that food comes out as it is done being prepared...so we had a lot of food in a short amount of time. However, I would not skip this delightful Asian fusion restaurant in Milwaukee! Good eats!

They had about 5 gluten free items on their menu, half of which were apparently NOT GLUTEN FREE. I ordered the gf miso ramen. It was mostly soggy tasteless rice noodles. Barely any broth, it had a taste, but it tasted horrible...the 3 friends I was with can testify. The prices were waaaay too high for what you get. I got a scallop appetizer and it was 11$ and literally 2 scallops. They were ok, but not 11$ ok! The little salad-like thing it came with was very vinegary. Too much for my tastebuds. This place has great potential they just aren't there yet. The only part of the meal I enjoyed was the pork that came with my ramen, very good. Finally, the waitress was partly rude when I politely explained how I didn't enjoy my raman. She pretty much said it was tasteless because there was no gluten. Thanks miss, sorry for having celiac disease and can't eat gluten! I think (know) its tasteless because there was no creativity or knowledge in how good gf things can be. Hopefully they will create more and better options for those of us that physically can't eat gluten.

I'm kicking myself because I used to live close to hear and I never went prior to this week. I decided to go there because they have gluten-free ramen, which was enough to bring me in. When I asked for Ramune flavors, I could tell I was in a good place since they have Yuzu. Most of the time if I ask for Ramune I'm getting original or strawberry. When they brought out the Ramune bottle the label was entirely in Japanese. As someone with Celiac Disease, I was also impressed because when I ordered my ramen I was asked by the server if that was a preference or an allergy. Usually when I order I'm informing the server and hoping they care, but the server beat me to the punch. And when my ramen arrived? My God. Grilled tomato and corn, a delectable ginger tamari broth, scallions and lettuce I could tell were fresh, pork belly with fat that melted as it hit my tongue. After having great ramen in New York City and Los Angeles, I gave up on trying ramen in Milwaukee because every place I had tried felt like something catching a trend. This ramen is on par with what I've had in New York City and Los Angeles and I ordered the stuff modified to keep gluten out of it. I was so happy after my meal I felt as though I was floating down Brady Street. Easy Tyger has just become one of my "comfort food" places...
