Jack's American Pub — Restaurant in Milwaukee

I went recently because I know the food is good as I was a repeat customer. Ordered a black and blue burger with fries and it came out fresh and timely. The first thing I tried was the fries and they were entirely too salty it was like someone accidentally left the saltshaker unscrewed. I tried to eat them by dusting off the salt but I could not take it so I told the waitress. (Fyi I have high BP) She was very nice but absolutely dismissive when it came to my complaint until I pushed the subject nicely and said that I tried my friends fries and hers were perfectly fine. I had to ask for a new order of fries because it wasn't offered. She said that she was going to tell the kitchen to make a new set of fries. Those fries never came out I asked her about what was going on and she told me that they probably forgot. She did not offer to reconcile my issue. I just accepted the fact that I was not going to get fries that were included with my order and proceeded to leave. Something so small should have been taken care of without any issue. They will take a black person money quick but the bar ain’t black ppl friendly and the morning bartender showed us just that… Let’s start off I was greeted with I need an id RUDELY not a welcome or anything then 10 mins after me arriving 2 white guys come in and she greets them ask if they need a menu was very warm and nice. They proceeded to order an alcoholic beverage as well and she Stated verbatim I JUST NEED TO KNOW that you have your id on you because undercover id people comes in here. I was sitting there waitin on her to press them to see lt Like she did me. Well she never did I felt very uncomfortable and like I was out of place so moving on what cut the cake mind you THEY MUSIC is blasting loud And she taps me and say me watching stories on my Facebook on my phone was too loud could I turn it down unreal right at that point I left she gave us nasty looks the entire time BLACK PEOPLE STAY AWAY THEY LITERALLY FILTER OUT ALMOST EVERY AFRICAN AMERICAN ARTIST FROM...

The food was mediocre but the service was awful. We spent about an hour trying to get Jameson shots sent to our table. She brought us the pickle backs we requested but brought jager bombs instead of Jameson. When we tried to kindly clear it up, instead of saying she misheard, she tried to tell me what I said. Then she comes back with more shots of Jager.

So I’m thinking this girl must be frazzled or confused, fine, so I take the shots to the bar to cut out the middle man. When I explain to the older man with a beard what happened, he rolled his eyes at me and yelled that he’ll tell my server to bring the correct shots.

We waited at least another 30 minutes. All for THREE JAMESON SHOTS. Never received an apology and were treated like we did something wrong.

Absolutely never even considering stepping foot in this mess of a restaurant again....
