Mad Chicken — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Update: The manager did reach out to me and offered a partial refund as well as partial credit towards my next order.

I ordered a ton of chicken tenders here two weeks ago on a Friday. I’ve been really patient trying to get this resolved. We ordered for delivery, but we didn’t get our drink. I called for a refund on the drink, she said the manager was out and she didn’t know how to refund it, so we could come in to pick up the drink. That would have defeated the purpose of the delivery fee and tip, so I was going to forget about it. Then, we started eating, and the chicken was horrible. It had a texture like baked fish and was flavorless. We’ve had chicken here before so I don’t know what was wrong with the tenders we ordered. I emailed Mad Chicken, asking for a refund on the order. The website said they’d get back to me in 2 to 3 business days, but I still haven’t heard from them. At this point, I know I probably won’t get my money back. Ordered Mad Chicken last night and had this weird bowl thing with mac and cheese, chicken etc and added extra Mad Sauce. When I tell you, I literally couldn't even see the chicken anymore it was just Mad Sauce at that point, it was heinous. But I'd already spent 30$ on this slop, so I may as well give it a shot.

Woke up at 5 am absolutely fighting for my life on the toilet. The demons that escaped the crevices of my abyss ended up fighting with me for an hour, almost two. Whilst these demons were escaping one end, I felt so nauseous it wanted to come out the other. If you love your digestive system, don't eat here. My stomach is absolutely torn to shreds, and I think the fight with the demons isn't over yet. This was not how I wanted to start off my Thanksgiving. I've ordered food from here twice, both carry-out orders. Food is pretty good. The tenders are crunchy on the outside, yet moist chicken breast. Boneless wings are also pretty good, as are their traditional wings. They have over a dozen sauces to choose from, divided into 3 spiceness categories. They seem to be slightly understaffed at the moment (who isn't currently understaffed) so I suggest calling your order in ahead of time, although when i tried calling ahead, nobody answered the phone. I would have removed half a star from my rating if possible for the relatively long wait after ordering, hopefully that will get sorted out once they hire more staff. Service was friendly. Chicken and waffles were also good (it's not Roscoe's good), but a halfway...
