Vintage — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Tonight was my wife and I worse experience at Vintage. The bar tender was so lit from taking like 8 shots playing bar dice with a group of 3 ppl that was looking and talking about my wife. She felt rather uncomfortable but I encouraged her to not mind them. We came tonight to have drinks and bring in my wife's birthday hanging at a spot we frequent and enjoy. The short bald bartender with black rim glasses told us don't come to Vintage if we're not going to tip because he pay his bills with tips. My wife said she always tips him but he didn't care what she was saying. He was slurring as well. My wife said you didn't give me time to tip you.....he didn't he jumped right to telling us after giving my change from 2 whiskey shots that we can't come there if we don't tip. I tipped him and put our shot glasses on top of the money.My wife was upset and left out while my mouth was still dropped open from shock of what the bartender slurringly said out of his mouth to us. My wife started her birthday rather frustrated. Dang Vintage....the bartender shouldn't drink on the job if the customers are going to...

After one too many drinks I realized with my friends in the cold we needed an uber or Lyft home. We stopped in here for the bathroom and wifi password so we could order one and the bar back or bartender with short dark hair checked my ID, had me search for the wifi, and then told me the password was that I had to order a drink first and then turned away. The safety of my friends and I shouldn’t have to rely on your business making money.

We’ve lived within a short distance of your business for some time and were excited to try it. But if I can’t trust a bartender past him expecting a tip I certainly don’t trust him to...

Bar Review: Vintage Vibes but Lacking Energy

I recently visited Vintage in Milwaukee and found it to be a mixed experience. The bar has a vintage charm, complete with cool poker tables that add a unique touch. The drinks were okay, not exceptional but decent enough. However, the atmosphere was quite dead, lacking the lively vibe you'd expect from a bar.
