Stumbled upon this place picking up an order for another. They had a banner outside with specials throughout the week, so I returned one day as I was craving some pizza. I like the energy of the staff, everyone is welcoming (my times I have gone in.) The music be great with a combination of just spectacular. 🤣 The dancing and fun vibrations of the staff. Now I have to say what really draws me to go multiple Tuesdays in a month is….the craftsmanship of the person who makes my pizza. Now if anybody seen Monk, with the specifics 😃that is ME. I am particularly picky about the positioning of my pizza, don’t throw it, make it pretty and appealing and I have NEVER had to say this I have just been so fortunate to have people either read my quirkiness or so but they make it neat, crunchy to my liking and cut perfectly. 😌😌😌 Ok! Now I did have to adjust to the gluten free dough (foundation) y’all I don’t know what gluten does but I know it holds ingredients on the pizza stronger. 🤣That would be the only thing I would have to say that is less than super positive. The ingredients tend to fall off. 🤣 But scoop ‘em and keep on eating. Parking here can be a bit hectic contingent on the time of day but again that is to go without saying because of the area. Definitely a lot of choices to top the pizza and in my opinion reasonable pricing for the value of the food, options and qualitative customer service received.

I recently dined at Blaze Pizza, conveniently located near East Bank towards Stadium Village, and it was an outstanding experience. I ordered their White Top Pizza while my friend chose the Red Vine Pizza. Both were exceptional, but I have to say the White Top was particularly delectable. What sets this pizza apart is its creamy blend of Parmesan, mozzarella, and a third mystery cheese—it's not Alfredo as one might assume, but something even better. Even more impressive is the use of a wood-fired oven that not only imparts a delightful smoky flavor but also ensures the pizza is ready in a flash. To complement the meal, I went with their Blood Orange Lemonade. This drink was a perfect mix of sweet and tart, and was refreshingly free of excessive sourness. Parking is fairly convenient with a few paid street spots available in front of the restaurant. Despite its popularity, I found it pleasantly quiet during my visit on a Tuesday at 4pm. In summary, Blaze Pizza offers a quick, delectable, and convenient dining experience that I highly recommend to anyone in search of quality, artisanal pizzas.

I was excited to try this pizza joint; I always seek out the local pizza when I travel. Though they had a menu of specialty pizzas, they give the option to build your own pizza, which I opted for. I went with my favorite, pepperoni and extra cheese and a side of cheese sticks. I was able to watch my pizza bake in an oven near a live flame, which was pretty cool. I took my meal back to the hotel and enjoyed every bite. My only complaint relates to the service; of the two people that prepared my pizza, the tall blonde fellow working the oven didn’t seem to have any interest in making pizzas or being polite toward customers, real uppity-type attitude. Overall, I was pleased with my decision to eat here and would certainly recommend it to locals and fellow tourists alike.

Blaze Pizza is FINALLY In MINNESOTA!!! Actually, there has been a Blaze location in St. Louis Park, that opened this past year. I just never made it out to that location yet. I first was introduced to Blaze pizza by my sister back in California a few years back! Blaze is like a chipotle inspired pizza joint, and the one of the first of its kind until other "chipotle inspired" pizza joints started opening up. At the end of the day, Blaze is still on the top of my list in regards to fast, custom made pizzas! This place is really similar to Pieology, which also is a custom-made pizza place that also has a few locations in Minnesota. Pieology is really good as well, but I still prefer Blaze a little more!

So, lets start with some history first! Blaze pizza originated back in my home state California! Ohh California, how I miss your food! Blaze pizza is owned by the same people that started Wetzel Pretzel! Also, one of my favorite pretzel chains. Blaze was founded in 2011 and has been spreading all over United States like a huge California BLAZE!! The whole country's gonna catch on fire soon! :) I love blaze so much! It's the chipotle king of pizza! I was soooo happy when I heard Blaze was opening up their store right next to campus under the new WaHu apartment buildings. If you're really lazy...you can take the light rail from campus to Stadium Village and walk like 2 blocks! Don't forget your campus light rail pass! Don't want to get ticketed!

Yes this place is far compared to other restaurants around campus, but believe me, it is WELL WORTH the extra walk! There is Punch Pizza that is a couple blocks closer to campus, but I'm sorry, Punch will have to move over because Blaze is in town! Blaze is worth the extra walk! I came here a day before the actual opening on the 11/12 because I saw people walking around with boxes! As I entered I saw them giving out free tasting passes!! Was I excited! I told my girlfriend to rush here to try to get it with me! I love pizza!! Let alone custom made pizza!! Woot!!!

For about $8 bucks you get to design your own pizza, and you unlimited toppings and a wide selection of toppings. I MEAN WIDE!! There is so much selection. They have all their ingredients laid out right in front of you, just like Chipotle! Just get in line and choose your toppings, after choosing they heat it up in their super fast oven in like under 3 minutes! It's crazy fast! Way faster than Punch! You can get your pizza with like 5 different sauces: classic red sauce, spicy red sauce, white cream sauce. They also have a bunch of cheeses such as goat, gorgonzola, mozzarella (MY GO-To), parmesan, and even vegan! You can mix and match! In addition, there are a ton of including my go to favorites: pepperoni, smoked ham, applewood bacon and veggies: arugula, fresh basil, jalapenos, mushrooms, pineapple, spinach, and red peppers! There are many more toppings that I have yet to mention! Those are just some of my favorite that I put on my pizza. I mean all that for $8? Punch charges like $6 for a plain pizza and then like $1 for each additional toppings... and they are scant!

This place also got a gluten-free crust too, if you're into that sort of thing.

Sorry, I'm getting a little carried away, but honestly, I love Blaze pizza. I finally have a go-to place on East Bank. This place also has great hours! They are open LATEEEE on weekends. Open til 3AM on Friday and Saturdays! On all other days they only open til 10PM :( sad, but not too bad.

I am so glad Punch made it out here to Minneapolis. Can't wait to see more and more of my favorite California eateries make it out here!

Honestly, come and check this place out, for the money and taste, it is WAY better than what you can only dream of getting Punch Pizza. Man, I can't wait to see this...

Not that great of an experience if I'm being completely honest. The reason I'm giving two instead of one is I know that working a near minimum wage customer service job kind is not the greatest in the world. So it's like a benefit of the doubt star. But the workers were very slow except one who was making the pizzas while I was there (I really wish I was exaggerating on the slow part). We were waiting for our pizzas for 15 minutes after pick up time (after an online order was placed 45 minutes prior). No worker was wearing masks during that time, even though everyone else in the pick-up line had their masks on. We could hear the workers ask each other which pizzas were for which order. Just seemed incredibly disorganized. At one point there was no one back behind the counters. And also no one asked me why we were still waiting. I don't really know the policy for Blaze when it comes to customer service, but that didn't seem like what it would be it. Hopefully it gets better, the pizza was pretty good. But the service for that night could definitely be improved upon (it wasn't even busy and I've been to a Blaze when it was extremely busy). And I get, I've worked in the service industry you get tired after a long day but also "it izz what it izzz", and you do your best. If you were planning on studying late and expected to pick up your food at a certain time, you would also be a...
