This is one of the newer locations here in Minneapolis. The customer service is excellent. They have indoor and outfit parking, spa, gym, and more. It's located about 10 minutes from downtown, so if you're here for an event or game, know that you are centrally located. There are plenty of restaurants around you want to explore, but if you like a relaxed morning, the Home2 has a complimentary breakfast as well. My room was clean and confiscated. And large with tv, queen bed, sink, full fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and even plates, cups, and silverware. The bathrooms are bright and spacious, and they provide your shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and soap. They've got all your bases covered. And if you're a hilton member, you can check in from the plane and go to your room using your phone as a key. (This is a hilton feature and can be used at most of their locations)

I found Hailey quite rude and condecending. There is a gap underneath the doors so you can hear everything going and coming in the hallway so don't expect a good night sleep

I am debating with myself how low of a review to give this. When visiting, my arrival was early and we opted to have them hold our bags so we could adventure out. We had 2 suitcases and a paper handled bag that needed to be refrigerated. The counter personnel said it was no problem and they gave us a ticket for our bags.

When returning later that day, they lost the paper refrigerated bag. The contents of the bag were something I had ordered and cannot get where I live. My thought about this is what if this was medical needs such as insulin, valuables, or really anything else of significant value.....DO NOT Trust anyone at the counter with your goods or valuables.

The effort of recovery was absolutely ridiculous. Basically, they walked in back and said. No it isn't there. Sorry. They do not care about you or your belongings and will not discount hold sympathy or provide any remorse whatsoever. This was my experience, and I can only hope for everyone else...if you stay here, heed my warning... lock your doors, watch your wallet, check your bank statements, and do not take your eyes off your belongings!!!!

The hotel is nice otherwise. Clean rooms, nice view on the balcony, bar opened at night. Parking is a pain so arrive early.

I am giving this 1 star as I will not stay here again based on my experience.

Update following management's response 8/28/2023. I completely agree...something could have been done, but nothing was done. Not to mention so many different options available on what could have been done. There was no questions, no sympathy, no remorse to losing my belongings. I am not ignorant and I understand things happen. But a business needs to be made aware of situations when they come up to prevent problems like this in the future. If I say nothing then nothing happens. The counter personnel when checking my bags in could have simply stated at my own risk... if it is food, our employees are hungry. If it is valuable it may get "lost". If it is medicine... don't store that here. Not to mention, so many different thoughts where it could have gone and my only thought is, it is sitting in a corner probably prepping for a roach or rodent infestation. Not that if anyone is reading here indicates this hotel has that problem.. it is very clean..... but you never know 🙄. I am only hopeful that the management is proactive in preventing situations like this for future other visitor stays. I travel a lot and I have had airline industries lose bags all the time and realize that there is a massive exchange and handoffs of baggage there. I as well drop off bags at hotels all the time where the exchange doesnt really go far.. this was a...

I booked my room for 19 nights. I chose the hotel because it was new, high ratings and close to a specific area. Cost wasn’t an issue but being new, everything should be of the highest standard. Let me behind by saying, Everyone at the hotel has been exceptionally polite.

After 3 days at the hotel, I requested a sheet change due to me working in extreme weather daily. It was brought to my attention they only do sheet change after 4 days, I asked for an exception due to being there 19 days. They were able to change my sheets and make an exception. 3 days later, I did not get a sheet change and I had to go down stairs to get more towels and rags and requested they change my sheets. The front desk advised they are short hand and would see if someone could change my sheets. I get back to my room after work and my bed was made up. There was still hair and dirt in the shower and sink. I went back down the following day to complain and the front desk said they would try to get someone to my room but are short handed due to holiday weekend. I came back to my room and nothing was done. On Monday, I spoke to front desk, he was polite, he apologized for the mishap and provided me fresh sheets to put on the bed myself since, the maids left early. I spoke to the hotel manager Tuesday and discussed my frustrations. They explained the delays with communication between house keeping and having them notate accounts. I was already considering leaving the hotel but they waived my remaining stays $15/night parking, which is ridiculous already for 19 nights.

I decided to go to breakfast this morning on my only day off. I went downstairs at 9:30 and there was a lot of people. There wasn’t any eggs, hash browns or sausage left. People are kind of walking around like a chicken with their heads cut off waiting and then the staff that was changing the trash stated “I’m sorry, I’m currently the only person here and I have no help. I will not be making any more food due to being too busy”. The breakfast is apart of the price for me staying at the hotel. So I had to leave the hotel to spend $36 at a local breakfast restaurant. This is just unacceptable!

Then when I got my final bill, there were still charges for parking for each day of my stay. I had to get with the manager again to have him credit my bill to...

Overall a Decent Stay, but Strong Fragrance Was a Major Downside

This is a well-maintained hotel with several positive aspects. The front desk staff was welcoming and professional, and the housekeeping team was also very friendly. The building is fully secured, requiring either a keycard or front desk assistance to access the main entrances, which I thought would be an inconvenience, but wasn't.

The lobby was clean and inviting, and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many great spots in the area.

However, there are a few drawbacks worth noting. The parking lot is extremely small, and parking costs $25 per night—an unexpected fee that was not listed on the hotel's website. This is particularly frustrating given that the parking is not secured in any way.

The room itself was clean, with a spotless bathroom and a comfortable bed. Unfortunately, I am giving the room a one-star rating due to the overpowering artificial fragrance used—likely from scented air filters in the HVAC unit. I had to remove the filters and air out the room, which was quite unpleasant.

I stayed to attend a concert at the Surley festival grounds. The hotel was in a perfect location for it.

In summary, the hotel has a lot going for it, but the use of heavy synthetic fragrances was a significant issue for me. I sincerely hope more hotels move away from the trend of artificial scenting, as it can be a serious discomfort for...
