Got the tour and saw the pallets of only top brand ingredients which makes for amazing tasting cookies. They sell only fresh cookies. Any left at the end of the day are frozen and given to non profits. NEVER selling day old cookies...like they could even taste bad at a day old. Cookie Cart trains neighborhood high school kids to work as a team, how to lead, how to work with the money they earn (yes, paid to work and to take classes/learn). I stop in usually at the Mpls. kitchen, but also at St. Paul when I am in town. Also do mail order on line to share with friends. Prices are less than at the major cookie competitors but more than big box stores......but what do the others do with their proceeds? We all make choices, and Cookie Cart invests in high school kids and in their neighborhood. I choose to support Cookie Cart's priorities. Love ya. Glad you do...
Read moreThis is not your typical yuppie pop up hipster bakery. This place has been around for years. And they are by far the best cookies in town. And this place is basically a cooking school for kids. So people who complain about customer service are impatient snobs with no knowledge of the mission behind the cookie cart. This is not just a bakery it's also a life learning center and a safe spot for teenagers. If the cashier was 35yrs old and rude then give them 1 star rating. But if the cashier here is 14 and learning life skills and her first job... give her some grace...

I called in 2 days before a large office event to see if we could order cookies, and Jordan was extremely helpful and able to accommodate our order.
