Never ordering from Jimmy Johns again, especially the one by the Quarry. First off, a few years ago, me and my parents went to this Jimmy Johns early in the morning for a quick bite before we went on vacation. My dad ended up getting food poisoning or something along those lines, as they weren't serving fresh vegetables, they were using the leftover that sat out overnight. Well, now, about 2 weeks ago, my dad was in hospital for something ironically related to food, and I was hungry at home, with nothing good to eat. I said to myself "Hmm, who delivers other than Domino's?" and then I was like, oh yeah, there is a Jimmy Johns 9 blocks away! 9 blocks is about 4 minutes or less if you are driving the speed limit. But then I remember that my father was sick from eating there, but I am a person who gives second chances. So, I ordered online, double checking to see that all my toppings were right, and tried to place it. The first time I tried to place it, it declined the card I was using... I tried again, same problem. So, I had to go grab my money, no big deal. Placed the order at 7:30 pm to be exact. Ok, now we will get to what I did within the 30 MINUTES I waited for the "FREAKY FAST" delivery. I was optimistic for the delivery to get here within 10 minutes of placing it, heck, it was 4 minutes away from my house. Now, going on 15-20 minutes, I end up pacing around thinking of what to do while waiting, while listening for the knock. At 25 minutes, I call up the store, asking how busy it is, and when the delivery drivers left. The lady, who I believe is the manager, says that the place was "almost empty", and "the delivery drivers left 20 MINUTES AGO". I ask her why it has taken almost 30 minutes now, and she aggressively says "there is nothing I can do to help you!"... Now, I am pissed off, it hits 30 minutes of waiting for the FREAKY FAST delivery boy. Ok, it is 8:01 pm now, I am waiting for a knock. I hear a faint tapping, just thinking I am hearing things, then I hear it 2 more times, just as faint as before. I end up walking down the stairs to see Mr. Freaky Fast waiting. I ask him the cliche "What took you so long?!?" but in a serious way, and he literally just stares at me with a dumb look, and shrugs takes the money, and gives me the sandwich, which the bag is all greasy from the sloppy job the did on it. Ok, I am a bit picky when it comes to food, but I usually can handle a few messups on food. This sandwich was an exception... The whole thing was covered in grease or oil or whatever they smothered it with. The lunch meat they used was not quality at all, and tasted rather salty. The raw onions I thought I told them to not be put on it were there, that and the lettuce was plentiful, unlike the meat on the sandwich. I just threw it away and ordered Domino's, 3 more blocks closer, but they took 13 minutes for much more food than a mere sandwich. Wouldn't ever recommend this or any other Jimmy Johns. Read moreJust comically bad service. Two friends and I were in to this Jimmy johns yesterday and had a just ridiculously bad service. We walked in and I ordered a Billy Club no tomato and had to repeat it maybe like 6 times as the cashier was drunk or high or both and acted like he had never used the computer before or knew what a sandwich was. Somehow my total for my sandwich and meal (drink & Chips) was $17 and after the ordering experience just walked away and I'm still scratching my head because he never gave me a receipt. My friends order and we sit down and I notice other people are sitting around waiting for their food. I then notice that nobody is actually making sandwiches and the only other employee was like shuffling boxes around, but she finally started making the sandwiches maybe like 10 minutes after I ordered. OK. People came in after us and they went up to order and the cashier just held his finger up to stop them from ordering he then just proceeds to stand there and lip-sync to the radio for a few minutes.
There are now seven people waiting for food. A bit later sandwiches start coming out in no particular order and the lady is just shouting the names of sandwiches. My friend goes up to get his sandwich and I ask him if there is a Billy Club up there. The lady making the sandwiches yells from behind the counter, " I AM THE ONLY ONE MAKING SANDWICHES!!!" At this point everybody waiting is just making faces at each other and laughing about how bad it is. And then I finally get my sandwich its wrong of course I eat it anyway and we finally...
Read moreHORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Manager was completely rude. I ordered online and the online system actually took me to a different store outside of my delivery area. That store transferred everything to this store. The manager had an attitude from the get go. My main concern was I had paid online and I wanted to know if I got a refund with the transfer because this store said they would not deliver without payment information and my understanding was that I paid. I asked for a corporate number to find out about the refund and she got more rude and I could here her mumbling to a coworker about me. She told me I had to dispute any charges with my credit card and they could not do anything. I will NEVER order or each at Jimmy Johns again from this location or anyone in their chain. I spoke to the original location who said it seems odd if they could not get a hold of me why they did not just deliver it and get payment from me.
