Tacos Locos — Restaurant in Minneapolis

If I could give zero I would. Paid $11 for a taco salad. Specifically asked for no tomatoes as I’m allergic. Got a taco salad with tomatoes as the main ingredient inside of the salad and some on the side. Called to ask for a refund. Got told to hold. Then got hung up on. Called back 4 different times after and continuously got hung up on every time bc they didn’t want to make it right. Food looked disgusting. Worst service I’ve seen in a long ass time. I’m living in my freaking car and paid $11 for something I can’t even eat. Staff should be fired. Could’ve caused me an allergic reaction had I not scooped from the bottom. The tomatoes were at the very bottom underneath everything. Staff is rude asf. Drove back to get a refund. They tried to only give me $5. They finally ended up giving me $7. Decided to try this place out with some out of town friends the other day. Ordered the chimichanga platter and steak fries and was absolutely blown away. Probably the tastiest food I've ever had (especially in the area), and the steak fries were insanely good. My friends said their food was also great! Not only that, but food was ready fairly quickly (12 of us came in at once, and we all had our food with 10-15 minutes) and the statf was very pleasant. Definitely going to come...

Just went to visit Tacos Locos today, after noticing it had finally opened. By far one of THE BEST places I have been to around campus. The food was authentic, fresh, and had great flavor. The shredded chicken was full of flavor, and the refried beans were absolutely amazing. I do not think you could go wrong here. The best part - prices are affordable. Not overpriced! Everyone working here was friendly, welcoming, and extremely kind. I will be coming...
