Falls Coffee — Restaurant in Minneapolis

Was there last Sunday around 10/11 am and was told they were out of matcha, espresso, red velvet, strawberry, cold brew, all valentines drinks, food item etc. Obviously we left like everyone else who walked in around the time we did ordering nothing. Figured they weren’t prepared for their TikTok to go viral and we would come back next weekend when they hopefully had more stock. Came back they only had two workers so the wait was super long. We ordered the love potion and the matchmaker matcha both drinks were not good. The matcha was super watery. It also didn’t look to have the cold foam which now reading other reviews makes sense because sounds like they were out and they just didn’t tell us. Overall, seems like they bit off way more than they could chew and I might be willing to check them out again in a couple months but not now.

Notes for the owners: -If you’re out of everything post it on social media since that’s where the majority of your new customers are coming from. Also would have been more helpful that initial Sunday to tell me what you had not what you didn’t have because seemed like you literally had nothing. -You still had online orders going when you had a line out the door and were drowning so much so you were providing bad quality drinks leading to all these negative reviews. I would for sure turn those off/allow employees to turn those off when they are drowning. -I get the place is small and also have a super poor layout but having two people making drinks and one on the cash register would have helped yall out a lot -You are way to spread out with the coffee special drinks, the foods, the bubble tea, and then on top of that 6 seasonal drinks. At max maybe do 2 seasonal drinks and consider limiting your menu so you can provide consistent quality

Overall you just bit off way more than you could chew and the result was a lot of people walking away not loving...

I came to leave a review for this awesome new drink shop in my neighborhood after visiting for the first time and I am truly shocked to see so many negative reviews! My wife ordered a hot tiramisu latte and I got an iced red velvet latte w/ cheese foam (from the Valentine’s speciality menu, can’t remember the cutesie name for it). We are both notoriously picky about both espresso AND boba/milk tea, and we both absolutely loved our drinks! They were flavorful without being too aggressively sweet. You could taste the espresso in both drinks without it being bitter or acidic. The iced red velvet was also a gorgeous bright red color and the cheese foam layered into it beautifully. The service was a tiny bit slow for how few customers there were inside, but I’m sure they were recovering from a busy morning because we tried to visit last Saturday morning and there was a line wrapped through the store and all the way out the door! Based on the other reviews I see here it sounds like drink consistency and efficient sequencing is something they are working on, and I would way rather wait an extra minute or two for a handcrafted beverage made well than get a bad quality drink quickly....

Love this cafe!!! Such a hidden gem! Carmen, one of the staff members here is so sweet! Lovely customer service and works so fast with the drinks! There isn't a ton of seating at this cafe, same with parking, but it typically isn't busy here because it's still a newer cafe. They have tons of unique drinks and yummy snacks for you to pick from! I've had a strawberry smoothie, strawberry shortcake matcha, strawberry tea lemonade, and a graham cracker latte! All of them were sooooooo good! This cafe not only looks aesthetically pleasing, but it really IS aesthetically pleasing!! I've come here to study, doodle, or just chill! It's the perfect spot to enjoy some nice quiet vibes while sipping on a yummy drink. It's location is also great if you wanna go on a walk and see some lovely nature too!!
