WARNING: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Ive never posted a negative review before today, but due to the nature of my recent experience, I'm about to make an exception in this case. I had been ordering from this place pretty regularly for the past few months without any problems, and so I placed an order last week, thinking nothing of it. I gave them my usual information and waited...and waited....Nothing. 2 hrs later and there was no pizza, no phone call, nothing. It was near closing time for them when I finally called them, but no one answered. The next day I called again to inquire, and the owner got on the phone and said they tried delivering and I wasn't home. I'd provided my # with my order, along with the rest of my usual info, and I asked him why Id never gotten a call. He said the driver did call, but I never answered. I'd had the line free all night and never received a call from anyone. I told him so, but he responded rudely that it 'wasn't his problem I never got the order, but my fault for not answering the door to receive it. ' . He also said he'd 'fulfilled his end of the bargain' by making the order, and repeated that this was my fault. He went on to say he was charging my credit card for the order anyway, and there was nothing more they were going to do for me. I couldn't believe it! Unfortunately, I had to get my bank involved in order to be reimbursed for this incident. We obviously will not be ordering from that...
Read moreLemme start off by saying that I am a delivery driver and have been for 5+ years for various locations.
I've been ordering from these guys off and on for a while. Pretty good food, something about their 1-2 topping pizzas tastes funny, but their specialties are pretty good. My only gripe is that their service is pretty bad, especially if things dont go their way.
For example: I was recently blacklisted from delivery because I didn't answer my phone when the driver came. In their defense, I requested that they call me, but I had forgotten that my phone was on silent. I was literally 10ft away from the driver in my living room when I failed to answer. Not once did he ring, not once did he knock, nor try another door, or try to reach a neighbor.
I eventually realized that it had been about an hour, and as I looked to my phone to call them back, I saw I had some missed calls. I called them back to apologize and was greeted with a bunch of hate. I was told its not worth their time and gas money to DO THEIR JOB (half-assedly) in delivering it, and they wouldnt be taking any other deliveries from me.
As a driver myself, and I'm sure other customers have been in this situation, but I know MY customers appreciate it if I try every available means to reaching them when their preferred method doesnt work.

Hadn't ordered from Uptown Pizza in at least a decade and my family and I placed an online order earlier tonight for an XL Supreme pizza. When I called an hour later to check on the delivery status on the pizza, I was informed that there was only one delivery driver as the other walked out and "I guess everyone is ordering from us because all the other places are closed". The gentleman on the phone read back the order correctly and said it'd arrive any minute, but when the food arrived, the delivery driver had a 16" instead and told my great-aunt that we could get an offer for the next order. Considering it's Christmas Eve and a lot of places are closed, we were not happy that we got a smaller size than we ordered and that the delivery driver had such an attitude about the order messup.
We understand, it's busy and such on Christmas Eve, but to do little to nothing to fix it? Then expect us to order again? That is horrible customer service and I say that with 5-6 years of customer service work under my belt.
