New York Gyro Lake Street — Restaurant in Minneapolis

We came to MSP for transfer for international flight so we had to stay a hotel we order a food at 140am around that time we received the food at 301am I’m not blaming to the store as the food came late it could be delayed due delivery I’ve paid 2 food a large fries, a burger with topping, and lamp gyro with topping too let me tell you the gyro even tho it was cold it tasted really good like super good the only thing saved it was it was that good, a good balance between sauce and seasoning I added cucumber, jalapeño, lettuce, salsa Tzatziki sauce, hot sauce and had it with mango smoothie. Let me tell you again the mango smoothie was really delicious and nice I just kept wanting to keep drinking. On other hand the fries were hard to chew my little nice who’s one year old but has teeth could not even eat it more than 2 fry she couldn’t chew it. The fries looks good and the salt was good but I think due being cold it was hard to chew and we didn’t have microwave in the hotel room. Hotel name is { InterContinental Minneapolis - St. Paul Airport, an IHG Hotel } its super close to airport. Anyway the burger forget about it don’t even order it. It was cold hard and not seasoned well nobody ate it { well my sister did eat half it} as for the fires we only ate couple of them rest we did not eat it. I feel like if they had good seasoning and it’s was not cold maybe it would had been better for that reason I’m not blaming them so I’m given the gyro mango smoothie and carrots cake 4.5 star as for the other 2.5 star. Quite honestly New York Gyro has never once failed me. I order late late at night for delivery and their food is so very perfect.

The chicken platter with all the veggies is so delicious. The meat is quality for the price and has a delightful seasoning.

The chicken wings are positively enormous and so incredibly juicy. Wings are always somewhat more expensive but these are worth every penny.

The Gyro is well worth your time as well, has a nice spice and is always fresh.

The Beef Patty hides slightly on the menu however it absolutely should not be missed because it has so much flavor.

The samosas are better than some actual Indian restaurants. The most delightfully crispy, silky perfection inside and always freshly prepared even at 2:30 AM is a miracle.

For those that work late and sometimes need food at this hour New York Gyro is an absolute LIFESAVER and I couldn't be more thankful. However, you will also find their food is every bit worth your time whether it is noon, 5 PM or 2 AM.

This was a DoorDash order at the end of the night and they didn't send me anything that I ordered correctly but the 1 Samosa. The fries were under cooked and soggy and extremely cold. It tasted as if the chicken was old and not freshly prepared. I also had the chicken and lamb rice were they forgot to put the sauce and the salad in it, extremely dry again and it seemed like they used old chicken. I also ordered caramel cake and they sent me a chocolate ganache cake. Due to allergies the cake was not able to be eaten. So basically nothing that was sent to me was edible I had to ask for a refund and something to be done about the restaurant. I only received a partial refund and due to not receiving all of my money back as soon as I use that money up I will never use door dash again. I called the restaurant directly and was treated very rudely and told basically chocolate cake is just like caramel cake, it's the "same thing" so I should just eat it.
