I am a recent previous shift lead at this store: we employees saw others drop food and SWEEP it back into the cambros then put them back onto line for custmers to eat to "save food cost" (not the first time this has happened either, and the OWNERS are guilty of this as well) One of their many owners are also their own "Health Inspector" which helps keep the store open despite regularly being out of compliance, they also would instruct employees to use the dishwashing sanitizer on some of the many vegetables that fall onto the floor to again, "save food cost" i myself even have copies of some of their more recent health inspections as well as the pictures that come along with it, all stating at least 4 criticals being out of compliance. The walls in back are rotting due to mold, water, and lack of care, the PREP TABLE is also rusting away, even after reporting to the owners WEEKLY what needs to be fixed or replaced. Poor service, cleanliness, training and experience from most managers, GMs included, with lack of food safety certifications other than the recent Assistant GM. They try to rush customers though the line and make them feel unwelcome so employees can stand in back on their phones, then come make customers food without washing their hands. Hardly ever had any fresh products, dates are passed due on the food items written right on the boxes and cambros. Had to fight with the owners to get everything we NEED to serve customers on the truck orders because they would be "too expensive" hence the reasoning as to why this store is regularly out of IMPORTANT products. Consistently terrible attiudes from owners towards staffs and costmers, so the crew members follow suit, the owners are also amazingly incompetent and unaware of the store conditions to nats and fruit flys flying around and landing on the open food in front and in the back of the store, with pest control traps that have dates still on them from 2017, as well as an expired fire extinguisher from 2017. When i first started there in the summer of 2018 there were boxes of food and cleaning chemicals/supplies from 2015, this includes sauces as well, i personally helped another coworker/manager throw some of these expired items away and was repremended that same week from the OWNERS for "wasting product" when nothing is being correctly rotated/FIFO'd including food in boxes and already prepped food. They also leave sharp dirty knifes laying around and hardly ever have soap or sanitizer in the dispensers for washing dishes, and would have to transfer those products from another store including non subway approved locations or have a manager drive to the dollar store fror dish soap. Since working there at the end of last summer to the begining of this year i have yet to see hand soap be delivered on truck or the bags in the dispensers to be changed even once. Im asking you as a previous shift lead at this location to please stay away from this subway located in crossroads mall, the previous Assistant GM has also dealt with these same issues and more from this store...

Last night There was only 1 guy working and he mumbled when speaking and made 2 footlong subs in 25 minutes and took him forever to grab 1 bag of chips and a bottle of water! He scratched his HEAD with the gloves on and continued touching our food. He didn’t cook the bacon, gave us rotten veggies, wrong bread, and when corrected nicely he said “not on here it doesn’t” (because I ordered online) And I told him politely that I asked for plain Italian and not herb and cheese. I applied a BOGO discount when I ordered online but it costed $30!!! He was incredibly slow and acted like he didn’t know where he was. At 7:20 there were people lining up to order food, and he told them “we’re closed…. My bad”… NO!! Online it says they close at 8! Even if you did close at 7:30, you got 10 more minutes until closed. This afternoon, I tried calling and it brought me to a FAX machine. Called multiple times to ask for a manager and get everything straightened out. Why the hell is there a kid, who acts like he doesn’t know where he is, ALL ALONE?! Where the hell is a manager? Or even decency!! Read moreThis Subway location is more expensive than others. I'm assuming because of the lot rent or being a corporate store, I'm not positive. They definitely have higher prices than most that I have been to or worked at. Also They do NOT take Discover card, I learned this the hard way.
There have been two times that I went to the Subway to find a sign hanging on the front of the glass that read, "Will be back shortly, had to run to the bank." I suppose that it's okay, considering there are other food options in the food court, but that was rather disappointing. ☹️
They do have decent customer service for being a fast food location in a high traffic area. There is a limited menu at this location. For instance, if you are looking for a children's tuna sandwich, you will not get it here, and a lot of the promotions do not seem to come to this location.
