I’m a patient guy. Three hours for twelve pieces of sushi, seaweed salad, hibachi chicken, and pad thai, with 30+ minute gaps between each order which they call rounds, left me very disappointed. I had the entire day off so I was committed to giving it the best try I could. Communication regarding unwritten rules on how to order was abysmal, and seeking clarification from other staff was vague at best. The quality of the food was sufficient, but underwhelming. This place would only be worth it on a date or with a group where you have unlimited time, and patience, and like each other, and want to spend lots of time talking. My disappointment is not about the price, it’s about proper communication of expectations, I understand new businesses typically have difficulty in proper staffing, especially in the kitchen. The problem is that for the first few rounds my waiter was communicating to me that I must order two appetizers every time I order an ā€œentreeā€ which the four piece of sushi was considered. It took me communicating with three different employees, before I could discern that required meant permitted. You may order up to two appetizers and up to two entrees per round. I respect the structure in order to prevent food waste, you’ve got to do something, but communicate the per round rules, instead of leaving your waitstaff to arbitrarily and chaotically communicate the expectations. The experience took a very long time, there’s a passive anxiety regarding the warning of getting charged extra for any food waste, but not knowing what that means if you leave a few onions and some rice on your plate. I’d only go back with another person, on a weekday, and hope for better turn around times.

Dined in on a busy Saturday night with my boyfriend. We had a wonderful time. My boyfriend ordered the Hawaiian beef which he said was the best he’s ever had. I had the all you can eat. Food was great and really loved the all you can eat, as I got to try a variety of dishes. Sushi was very good, the Twister was my favorite. The sashimi was very good, I really liked the salmon and tuna sashimi. I was disappointed to see the tuna cappuccino wasn’t on the all can eat menu, as it’s one of my favs. The strawberry margarita was really good as well. Didn’t do the dessert bar just because we were so full at the end. My only concern was by bf is mildly shellfish allergic, so he didn’t do the sushi. Is there a possibility there could be a way to do the all you can eat sushi that is selfish allergic compliant in the future? If not I understand as getting that much sushi out risks cross contamination. I truly appreciate the servers honesty for the risk as well. Service was also very good, especially with how busy it was. The servers were kind and attentive. They checked in frequently and cleared the trays often. Overall, a really great experience. Cost wise was reasonable for a full meal and drinks. Will definitely be back again, as we very much enjoyed the food & service.

My Wife and I went in for the AYCE. When we first arrived we were standing at the counter waiting to put our names in. A server came over and told us to take a seat with all people that had already checked in so that, that way the hostess would know to put our name in. I have no idea how that would make sense to anyone so we just stayed waiting at the counter.

It wasn't terribly busy it only took about 5 minutes to be seated. but when we got to our table we got a male server that seemed,, frantic?... We placed our first order with 5 rolls and 4 apps. The apps came out in about 5 minutes which was unexpected. Very small portions but it is AYCE. at some point the waiter came around telling us that theres a bit of a wait due to a long queue, it then took about 25 minutes to get the rolls(which come as 4 pieces). We quickly ate those and placed a second order as soon as our waiter came around again about 5 minutes later.

At this point our waiter seemingly disappeared. There was another waitress serving all the tables around us that was constantly around for our entire visit. She checked her tables frequently. We got the app we ordered fairly quick again. After about 30 minutes we FINALLY see our waiter again for the first time since we placed the order. He came around asking if we were ready for another round. YES we were still waiting for the one we already placed. He was still acting excessively frantic. Another 15 minutes pass before we see him again where we look visibly upset. At this point we had watched 4 tables be seated served and LEAVE since we had placed the second order. The waiter then told us, again frantically that there is a long queue and our order will be out shortly. Another 15 minutes pass where he frequently came back to tell us long queue, as if we hadn't watched all these people come in, eat and leave. So about an hour after we placed the order we still did not receive the food so my wife went to the counter and cancelled the order.

The waiter then brought us the bill for 80 dollars. I asked for a manager because I was not about to pay full price while not receiving any service. The manager came by and we explained all of this to her. She then went off to ask whoever questions. Turns out the cooks had dropped the ticket after making the apps so they didn't have our actual food order. We may have been a lot more patience and understanding if we were actually told the truth from the beginning. We weren't though. Our waiter was telling us that it was just a long queue. The manager did end up comping the bill by 50%. We left 40$ poorer, still hungry, angry and disappointed.

This place has potential as the food that we did receive was tasty. Like I said before the portions are small so if you do go be prepared for that. 4 pieces to a roll and way smaller than average. The sashimi was...

I am from La Southern cali. and everywhere I go or have gone here in this state to order sashimi they give you these huge thick chunks! it's not sashimi it's gross! But here they do it right! the yellowtail sashimi is what I have been looking for since I moved here. sashimi is supposed to be thinly sliced, even when I come in tonight or tomorrow I'm going to ask them to slice them thinner for me! and that's how it's done!especially where I'm from in Malibu. The best yellowtail I've had since buying a home here in this state. The servers are so kind and gracious and the prices are great if you get the all you can eat they're on cute smaller plates. And that's a normal serving amount. I'm sorry to say this but people in the statee eat so much I mean it's crazy to me! I saw people complaining about the portion sizes. Their portion sizes are normal. Maybe not for morbidly obese Americans but this place is spot on I will be in this evening for some more yellowtail. The only complaint I had or have is that the jalapenos aren't a little bit spicy just a little bit more spice with the jalapeno. But again it's probably them catering to folks who are from here. I can't believe the reviews of people complaining about the portion sizes! Those are normal servings and if you think that's small then you should probably get a gastric bypass. Thank you to our server he was wonderful and we will absolutely be back tonight or tomorrow. And again thank you I've been searching for actual sashimi since I've been here, and like I said the other restaurants just give you big chunks of fish that is not sashimi. This restaurant knows what it's doing. And anyone who's complaining on the reviews are insane. And probably very very fat. Great place great employees great food...
